In the most remote corner of the spectator stands, Dustin sat alone in silence.
He stared at the enormous phantom behind Harris, the one that blotted out the sky and covered the earth. The usual calmness on his face had vanished, replaced by a rare trace of solemnity.
It reminded him of a certain past he did not wish to mention.
"Starbeasts really are troublesome existences."
He muttered softly to himself, a hint of helplessness in his tone.
"There is one in the Chaosverse as well, though that fellow is far more arrogant and overbearing than Harris."
"If that fellow had not matured long ago and already entered the peak of Divine-grade, the outcome of the Rookie Tournament would truly have been difficult to predict."
"Had I not descended upon this battlefield, Faustus would most likely have been destined to fight Harris for supremacy."
The corner of Dustin's mouth lifted slightly, a trace of pride flashing through his eyes.
