Lyan
I woke up in a panic, thrashing around, trying to get rid of the hands touching me everywhere.
" Leave me alone!!!! Leave me alone!!" I shouted as the hands kept at it.
" Are you okay?" Big hands, different from the ones on my body, held me and petted me. Their warmth passed onto me and the fear that had been pooling on my stomach disappeared little by little.
I nodded slowly, calming myself down. I opened my eyes and saw Orus standing over me. His hands were the ones on my head, petting me slowly and carefully.
" Did you have a nightmare?" His voice was soft and low, as if he was speaking to a spooked animal.
" I dreamt that someone kidnapped me" I shuddered thinking about it. I had felt so powerless. I never wanted to feel that way ever again.
" It was real" Orus said in a soft voice." But now you're safe"
" It was real?" I curled my whole body, turning myself into a ball.
" They're all dead. Don't worry"
Orus's gentle words calmed me down enough to begin thinking clearly again.
" How did they enter?"
" We don't know" Instead of Orus Oscar was the one who answered my question. He was leaning against the doorframe, looking as carefree as ever. " All we know is that it isn't safe here right now"
" Oscar's right" Orus sighed. " We'll have to leave"
" What? No!!!" I jumped out of bed and hugged the wooden column that kept the whole room together. " I'm not leaving" I had only stayed on the mansion for a few days, but I was already enamoured by the sea, the wind, the forest, the way the air smelled in the morning. I didn't want to leave.
" It isn't safe" Orus crossed his arms. He was serious about this, but so was I.
" What if we went to another beach?" Oscar said while looking at me from the door.
" That'd be..... That'd be...okay" I hesitated, thinking about if I really wanted to leave, but it wasn't the place I loved. I just liked the fact that it was near the beach. " As long as it has a beach"
Oscar and Orus both smiled openly.
" Put on some clothes" Orus said, pointing to a green dress on the wardrobe, the only piece of clothing left on it." We've already packed your bags. Come down when you're ready. We'll be waiting for you downstairs."
" Unless you want to do a strip show, which I would deeply appreciate" Oscar said while bitting his lower lip and looking at me with lust in his eyes.
" Get lost!!" I screamed, feeling my face get hot. They loved saying dirty things just to see me blush.
" Hahahaha" Oscar laughed, but left along with Orus and I was left all alone in my room.
The dress fit me like a glove. It hugged my curves perfectly. The skirt feel past my knee and the bodice hung so low that half my breasts were visible. I looked myself in the mirror and had to admit I was pretty damn hot, but I really didn't like the bodice.
I threw a jacket over my shoulders and put it on. My breasts were no longer visible, but the dress was still as pretty as before.
I twirled a few times in the empty room, feeling confident in myself, before I went to the lower floor.
The guys were already waiting for me at the stairs, just like last night, but this time they didn't gasp or get out of air as they watched me come down.
We all got into the car and Oscar took the driver's seat, groaning about being away from me all the time. I laid back into Orus's lap and closed my eyes.
" Where are we going?" I asked the guys once the car was already moving.
" My parent's house. It's only two hours away and it's near the beach" Orus answered while taking strands of my hair in an attempt to braid it.
" Yeah. It's a very short journey. It's only two hours" Jack added.
Turns out that with Oscar on the wheel a two hour journey can be transformed into a 45 minute one. Good to know.
45 minutes, three major car accident and two wheels less later we arrived at Orus's parent's house. It wasn't as big as the mansion we had left but it seemed cozy. The whole house had two floors and was painted in a greyish tone that transmitted calmness.
Oscar parked the car in the driveway and we all got out. I grabbed Fluffy from his spot under the front seat and hugged him. The guys looked at him weird, even more so than usual, but I didn't know why they did that. I didn't remember any accidents with Fluffy. Given, the day before I was so drunk that all I could remember was entering the bar and starting downing drinks, but I didn't remember getting out.
Orus took my hand while he carried some bags with the other one. The guys sorrounded me as we approached the mansion.
Jack rang the doorbell and we waited.
" Jack! Oscar! Orus! " A middle-aged woman with grey hair and black eyes and a kind, real smile opened the door and as soon as she saw my guys she threw herself into their arms. They all hugged tightly as I stood aside, feeling a pang of pain in my heart. I used to do things like that with my mother. I missed her so much, and seeing them hugging that woman just made me miss her even more.
I wiped my tears as silently as I could, and fortunately they were all too busy to notice. An slightly fat man with an unruly beard and green eyes and hair of the same color had come out not that long ago and was now hugging the guys alongside the woman.
A few minutes later they finally broke the hug and they all turned to look at me.
" Mom, this is our friend Lyan" Jack said while throwing his arms over my shoulders. I was sure Orus could hear my racing heartbeat and smell my sweat. I was extremely nervous. I knew I didn't have to be liked by their parents. It shouldn't even had matter, but it did. I wanted them to like me.
" Hi. I'm Lyan" I extended my hand, but instead of taking it the woman pulled me into an embrace. Fluffy jumped from my arms and into Oscar's, meanwhile my whole body went rigid and then slowly relaxed. My heart calmed down and I wasn't sweating anymore.
" My name's Mary. I'm this rascal's mother" she presented herself as she let me go." And this" She said, pointing to the man I guessed was her husband" is my husband Enrik"
Enrik smiled at me and nodded my way.
" Thanks for taking care of my boys. I know they can be a handful sometimes, but if you take the time to get to know them they're lovely"
" Mom!!" Jack and Orus screamed at the same time and turned red. They could be embarrassed. Good to know.
" Sorry, sorry" Mary gave me a warm smile and took the role of hostess, showing me around the house while the guys and her husband picked the bags from the car.
" This is them when they were little" Mary showed me a photo of three little rascals showing their tongues and smiling at the camera.
" They've changed a lot"
"Not that much" Mary put the photo back on the counter and continued guiding me through the house " They're still little rascals"
I smiled warmly at her and she smiled back.
" If they ever cause you any trouble just tell me. I'll deal with them" I had found the ultimate weapon against them. A devious grin spread across my face and I put on my most innocent face before looking at Mary in the eyes.
" The truth is that they love to mock me. I feel so embarrassed every time they speak"
" They embarrass you, darling?" I nodded, still with an innocent face.
" Want me to tell you some secrets from when they were little?" I gave her a devious smile and laughed. Mary laughed with me.
" Orus used to pee on his pants and bed until he was ten" She whispered into my ear.
" Really?"
" Really"
That was real ammunition right there, but Mary wasn't anywhere near done.
" Mark used to believe that demons were good and once tried to summon one, but when the sun set he was so scared he ran to me screaming Mommy and clinging to my leg. We were at a park"
" Hahaha" I laughed so hard I had no doubt the guys had heard me, but I didn't care. This was gold.
" And Jack used to jump off of roofs screaming I'm superman. You don't know how many times I had to call for the fire department because he chickend out at the last second and decided he couldn't neither jump nor get down. It got so bad that the firemen even knew his name. Here's the photo"
The photo showed a smaller Jack grabbing a roof with all his strength, eyes closed, while the firemen down below looked at him with exhausted expressions.
" Want to hear more?"
" Keep them coming"
Mary spent the whole morning telling me stories about the guys when they were little. I laughed so much that at one point I thought my ribs were broken.
Since Mary hadn't had time to make lunch we ate leftovers from the fridge, which in my opinion were as good as food from a professional restaurant, and everyone took a seat around the living room as the sun began to set.
" We can go to the beach tomorrow if you want" Orus proposed from where he was sitting on the floor, looking at me with confidence. The only reason why he was still confident was because I didn't have the guts to roast them in front of their parents, so that would have to wait until we were alone and the beach was the perfect excuse for that. That and I really liked the beach, sand and the sea.
" Yeah. I think it's a great idea" I smiled at Orus. He looked at me, transfixed, not paying attention to the book he was reading anymore.
" Keep it in your pants!" Enrik's voice boomed all around the living room and I blushed, but Orus just shrugged.
" I've seen you like this plenty of times. You're not one to judge" Orus's response was immediate and brutal. This guy had no filter. Feeling more embarrassed than them I turned to look at Mary instead of the silent glare war that Orus and his father had going on, with a side bet. Oscar and Jack were quietly betting on who would win. Shameless.
" Do you want to play something?"
Mary's face lit up. " Of course, darling" She got up from her couch and ran to a small desk on one side of the living room. She opened a drawer and took out a bag.
" Let's play charades!" Mary announced loudly. The guys, including Jack's father, turned to look at her and smiled.
" Betting's on" Jack got up and as Mary sat back down he stood in the middle of the room. " The teams are: Lyan, mom and Oscar, because if not he won't play..."
" Oscar's playing?!" Both Mary and Enrik asked at the same time, looking at Oscar as if he had grown horns.
" Long story" Jack said as an answer" and the other team is dad, Orus and me. How much are you betting?"
I looked at Mary, confused, but she just laughed and told me she had me covered, whatever that meant.
" All right!" Jack said after collecting money from everyone except me" Let the games begin"
Jack took the bag from Mary's hands and picked a paper.
" One, two, three, go" The moment Mary said go Jack started moving, making stupid motions, jumping up and down with his arms extended.
" Fly" Orus screamed from where he was sitting.
" Jump" His father said.
" Steal" Orus's confidence was surprising. He was so wrong and yet sounded so confident.
" Why steal? That's moronic. It's shower" Orus's dad roasted him while trying to guess what Jack was doing.
" It was a plane" Jack complained once the time had run out.
" You suck at this"
" No, you suck" Orus and Jack got into a fight while their dad sighed.
We had this in the bag.
We won the game by a landslide and won the money from the bet, which Mary gave me the half of even though I hadn't given any money.
" It's a gift" She told me when I tried to return it.
When the game ended it was already midnight and we still hadn't eaten, but I wasn't hungry by now. I left the guys calling for pizza and followed Mary as she guided me to my room.
" This is yours" She said as she pointed to a room that clearly belonged to one of the guys, but surprisingly Fluffy was there, sitting on the bed.
" Where will the guys sleep?"
" Don't you worry about that. They love the couch"
" Is that okay? This is their home"
" You can also invite them to your bed, but I doubted you'd want them to kiss you while you're in my house" Mary chuckled.
" Why would I kiss them?" I asked, pretending to be offended.
" No reason" Mary half laughed. " But if you do I want you to know that the walls are very thick" She winked at me and went away. Now I knew why the guys loved to tease me so much. The whole family was like that. They were all the same. I blushed and decided that tomorrow they would be the ones getting roasted.
