Now the problem was where to find the wine.
" There won't be any in the school" I mussed. I knew there wasn't any at the school, and I was sure there would be in town, only problem was access from and into the academy had become way stricter since last time I'd been here. It probably had a lot to do with the demon attack that had killed over half the students and almost all of the teachers, but it annoyed me nonetheless.
With no hopes to get out of school and with no alcohol in sight inside the school that I knew of my only option now was to trust the conversation I had once overheard Jack have with Oscar.
If what they'd said was true then there was a hidden cellar in the lower levels of the school filled with so much wine and alcohol it could make the whole academy pass out. I was dying to try it out.
Despite my heart feeling uneasy every time I saw Mark and Jack and my suspicions that they were the traitors I still needed someone to take me to the cellar. I was under no fake impression that I would be able to reach it by myself because I was special. If anything it was the opposite. If I tried I was sure I would end up lost and with no way out of the darkest parts of the academy. That was how unlucky I was.
Gathering all my courage, right now it was way more important for me to be drunk and forget than to hold onto grudges, I went outside my room. Before I could go back and chicken out I held my chin high and walked over to Jack's room.
" Get me to the cellar" I didn't even say hello as I entered like a windwhirl.
" Why do you want to go there?"
" Why would I want to go to a room filled with wine?"
" Fine, I get it. I'll take you there" Jack didn't even hesitate as he answered.
At long last! For once something on my life was going right.
" Where are we going?" Orus appeared out of nowhere and started inputting in our conversation, not caring that I wanted to drink alone.
" I'm going"
" We're going" Now Jack was being annoying too. I couldn't help but think he was trying to distract me for some reason. My eyes kept going from him to Orus and then back to myself. My every nerve was on edge as I eyed Jack. I needed to stop this, and soon or else I'd become a maniac that couldn't even look anyone in the eyes, the paranoia too strong to trust anyone. I wished Ruan would make haste.
" You're just taking me there, then you'll go away" My voice was commanding as I stared at him, the suspicions running free in my head.
" I could take you too"
Thank God. If Orus was the one to take me then maybe I wouldn't have to be suspicious all the time. At least I trusted Orus.
" Do you know where the wine cellar is?"
Orus's face fell and I cursed Jack in my head. Deep down I knew there was nothing to be done if he didn't even know where the place I wanted to go was, but in my head it was still better than going with a possible traitor.
" I could try to find it" Orus's face got a little bit of his confidence back, which returned more the more he spoke." I could smell the wine in the air and reach the cellar. It can't be that hard!"
" How about we all go?"
I glared at Jack, I wasn't in the mood to drink with the both of them in the same room, and turned to look at Orus.
" Can you really find the cellar with your nose?"
" I could try" Orus's smile was wicked as his eyes trailed all over me. The good kind of shivers spread all over my body, my skin flushing and my pussy throbbing from the heat in his gaze.
' Not now ' I chastised myself and looked away. Maybe going to drink out with Orus wasn't such a great idea after all.
" Are you still mad at me?" My head snapped to Jack, who was pouting in his bed, his sad eyes looking at me.
" What do you mean?" I asked. It was true that I had treated him coldly lately, but I'd never said outright I was mad at him. Had he managed to guess that on his own?
" Aren't you mad that I stayed the night out?" Jack looked at me as if I was a puzzle he couldn't quite decifer. I decided that I loved that look on his face.
Now, that was a plausible excuse. I nodded. I couldn't tell him the real reason why I was being cold to him, so that one would have to do.
" I promise you that I didn't sleep with any girl"
Ah, so that was what he thought I was pissed about. I smiled internally, he couldn't be further away from the truth.
" Then what were you doing?" Jack hadn't even realize that he had just given me the most important and powerful ammunition against him right now. Now I had the right to ask what he was doing, which I was dying to know, and he couldn't just tell me nothing.
I might just be able to find out who the traitor was on my own. I beamed with pride as I looked at Jack, who was thinking, panicking silently, and Orus, who was just raising his eyebrows in a silent question.
" I was... playing poker with a friend"
I smiled sadly before turning away as my heart cracked more, the cracks spreading all over and starting to break it into a thousand tiny pieces that I wasn't sure I could ever heal and put together again, but at least now I knew he was lying. Jack always used the same excuse, he could at least pretend to care a little bit.
" Did you win?"
" Of course" Jack's tone was so sincere and his smile so honest that if I hadn't known he was lying I would've believed him. He was that good at lying and it just made me think about all the times that he'd claimed he was telling the truth. Had he lied or had he really been telling the truth? I couldn't tell anymore.
I glanced at Orus, watching his reaction, but he was just looking at me. Very useful.
" Well, do you want to go or not?" Jack tilted his head as he looked at me.
To hell with it all. That was why I had wanted to get drunk in the first place, to forget about everything for a little while, and that was what I was going to do, Jack or not Jack and Orus or not Orus.
Turns out the wine cellar was hidden deep inside the old castle, in a forgotten room with an old key that Jack had for whatever reason. He really did seem to have the keys to everything, but I wasn't going to think about it, not now. I had come here precisely to forget and get drunk for a while.
" Is it all wine?" The cellar was filled with hundreds of bottles, all of them without a label. The whole place reeked of alcohol and bad decisions, just what I had wanted.
" This one is" Orus reached over to a bottle located on the lower shelves and passed it to me.
I sniffed it before opening it and touching the clear liquid with my lips. Yeah, that was wine alright.
" Thanks for taking me here. You can go now"
I tried to get rid of the guys so that I could drink alone, but as I expected the plan backfired spectacularly.
" Nah, I'm cool here" Jack leaned over a shelf and took a bottle at random, taking a big sip of the alcohol before moaning, content. " This is good. Do you want to try it?"
I took the bottle, alcohol was alcohol, and took a sip.
Yeah, it was very good, but that wasn't the point. I wanted to get drunk alone.
" Won't you leave me alone?"
" Can't I stay?" Orus's puppy eyes seared my insides and I found myself asking that same question.
I glanced at the wine and then at them, looking at me so composed that no one would have guessed they had just been begging a few seconds ago. What the hell? I was getting drunk, the more the merrier.
" Fine" I smiled at Orus as I took the bottle to my lips and took one looong sip of wine. Honestly, it was so good.
I hadn't even drunk much when my whole head felt as if it had been submerged in water, my senses dimmed and blurry. I couldn't even make out Orus sitting besides me or Jack, reaching for another bottle in a high shelf.
" Why are you blue?" Orus had suddenly changed colors, his whole skin taking a bluish tint.
" I'm blue?"
Yeah, he was. Couldn't he see?
" You're more blue than the.... the..." What was the word for that blue thing that got you wet?
" The sea?"
That was it. I turned to look at a blurry image of a guy and smiled. I liked him, he treated me well. I didn't even know how I could've hated him three bottles of wine ago.
" That!"
" I'm more blue than the sea?"
I nodded. The blue man, whose name I couldn't quite recall right now, was right. He was blue.
The other, blurry guy, my brain was too trashed to remember names, chuckled before taking a sip of his own bottle. I was so funny. I knew it. I was the best.
" Yes, you're that" I giggled. My whole body was tingling and everything was fun.
" I'm blue, but not where you think"
What did he mean? Confusion washed over me before it was quickly replaced by the good tingling sensation from the alcohol.
" I'm blue too"
" No, you aren't" Blurry man wasn't blue, the other one was.
" My balls are"
What balls? What did he mean? I looked at blue man, who was smiling, and then at blurry man. I didn't know what was going on but if they were smiling and laughing it couldn't be so bad.
I smiled too as I took another long sip of my wine.
" I think that's enough" Blue man grabbed my bottle and took it away from me. I glared at him, how dare he?
" Give me back my bottle" I got up, anger rippling through my body as I looked at blue man and blurry man, who was smiling behind the first one.
" I will" I smiled. I was that good. I could command anyone to do what I wanted" But only if you can tell me what my name is"
" Blue man?"
" Hahaha" Orus smiled at me. " I'm blue, but that isn't my name"
Then I had no freaking idea what his name could be if it wasn't blue man. I looked at blurry man for support but he just chuckled before chugging a good chunk of his bottle. Why could he drink and I couldn't? It wasn't fair at all.
" Why can he drink and I can't?" I pouted, pointed at the blurry man.
" Because I can actually hold my liquor"
Rude. I could too and I was going to show him.
" Let's make a deal. We drink and after we have to do something the other person chooses. If you can't do it you're disqualified"
" What does that have to do with alcohol tolerance?" Blue man asked, confusion in his voice.
" Can't you see?" Blue man was slow. " If you can't do the challenge it means you're wasted. It tests how well you can tolerate alcohol "
" Okay"
I smiled. Blurry man was in.
" Can I play too?" Blue man's voice had a hint of amusement as he asked.
" Of course, everyone can play"
Blurry man took some more bottles from the brown things that held things, I couldn't remember the word for that thing, while blue man gave me back my bottle.
" Orus"
" What?"
" My name's Orus"
Blue man finally had a name.
" And he" Orus pointed to blurry man" is Jack. Try to not forget"
" I can try, but I can't promise anything"
Orus chuckled as he grabbed Jack by the hand and pulled him down to the floor.
" Okay. Someone chugs and then two people give the other the challenge, do you agree?"
Both Jack and Orus nodded. I was going to beat the shit out of them.
" Chug!" As I said the word I raised my bottle and took a big sip before putting it down.
" What's the challenge?" I smiled smugly. I was sure I was going to win.
" How much is 4 times 4"
Jack was evil. I stared at him as I tried to count in my head, but it was useless. The numbers would disappear from my mind as soon as I got close and I'd have to begin again.
" 40?" I had no better guess.
" Nah" Jack smiled smugly and for some reason that managed to make me fell something through the alcohol fog. I felt pissed.
" Your turn" I was going to defeat him no matter what.
" Fine " Jack chugged from his bottle and then looked at us. " What's the challenge?"
I eyed Orus, but he just smiled and let me come up with the challenge myself. He was going to regreat having pissed me off.
" Do a mortal"
" What?"
" You heard me, do a mortal"
Jack's teeth were gritted as he got up with his wobbly legs and tried to stand on his own. I chuckled as I watched him. He couldn't even stand on his own feet, how was he going to do a mortal?
From my side Orus chuckled too, his amusement clear as day in his face.
" Fine. I'll do it"
Jack staggered back and forth before ending with his face on the floor.
" Hahaha. You lost" I talked while the tears gathered in my eyes.
" My turn" Orus looked at me all the time as he chugged, his mouth moving up and down as he downed half the bottle in a second. Wow, I doubted I could've done that.
" What should we make him do?" I got closer to Jack to come up with an evil scheme to make Orus lose. I wanted to win.
" How about we make him recite the entire lesson of yesterday's class?"
That was genius!
" Let's do that"
We both smiled diabolically as we looked at Orus and chuckled. He was done for. I was having so much fun that I didn't even remember why I should be hating Jack, right now all I could tell was that he was fun and that I liked him.
" Tell us all we were taught in yesterday's class" I smiled diabolically as I said it, chucking a little.
" I don't know!" Orus's face was filled with amusement. " I wouldn't know even if I was sober"
" Sorry, but it doesn't work that way"
Jack agreed with me and we went on to the next round with no clear winner.
After ten rounds or so I couldn't even remember my own name and everything was shiny. Jack and Orus weren't much better, they were talking to the shelves and the bottles as they face planted into the floor whenever they tried to get up, that was why I didn't even try to move from my spot. The moment I did the world tilted and I felt the need to puke.
By now we still had no clear winner. I was sure someone had won, but we were so drunk that we'd lost count around challenge three. Good thing was that Jack was wasted too, so I considered it a victory. He couldn't even stand straight, he was drunk and since I was standing straight sitting I was the winner.
" I won" I said with a smile, my voice drowsy.
" You didn't" Jack looked at the wall behind me as he said that.
" I did. I can stand straight and you can't"
" But you're seated"
" Doesn't matter"
Jack looked at Orus for backup, but he looked at me and smiled.
" Lyan's right. It's fair"
" Fuuuck!" Jack fell to the ground, the bottle he has holding falling and breaking as soon as it hit the floor." Guess I lost"
" You did" My smile was big as I proudly held my head high. I had won.
" What do you want as a reward?"
" Reward?" The deal didn't have a prize for the winner.
" Yeah, reward" Orus nodded, as if a reward was the most obvious thing in the world. Maybe we had had that conversation and I didn't remember it. It was completely possible, my head couldn't even count to ten right now.
" Fine, you owe me"
" I do?" Jack's glassy eyes got closer to me, unfocused as I swallowed hard. My lower stomach begun tingling and I crossed my legs, aroused.
" Do you want to play?" Orus was by my side in a second, his eyes filled with lust as he opened his nostrils and took in the smell from my arousal.
" What kind of game?" I was up to almost anything, but I hated, hated monopoly.
" This kind of game"
My eyes opened wide as Orus grabbed my head and kissed me. I hadn't expected that.
I grabbed his head too and entered my tongue in his mouth. He tasted like alcohol and I fucking loved it. My lower stomach tingled and my pussy throbbed as evey place he touched was set on fire.
" What are you doing without me?" Jack kissed me on the neck and all my nerves went into overdrive wherever he touched, my skin burning up.
My heart beated faster as my blood boiled looking at them. I wanted someone to touch me, evey second they just teased me felt like torture.
I grabbed Orus's head and pushed him down, right where I wanted him.
I moaned as Jack sucked on my sensitive skin and made me shiver, pleasure erupting from every nerve he touched. I freaking loved it, even more when Orus went down and started taking off my clothes. I loved the feeling of ingravity I felt when they touched me.
My whole head went even more hazy as I lost focus, my whole body waiting for them to finally find my sweetest spot.
I was thrusting my hips into Orus's face, who was still trying to take off my clothes without much success, when the door opened.
We all snapped our heads that way and Jack growled, aether gathering on his hands to push off the intruder, but it was already too late. The stranger entered as we all stared in fear at the door, or at least I did. Jack seemed ready to kill and Orus never left my legs, the guy had his priorities clear as day.
