Chapter 22 - Minor Preparations(2)

Duba's POV----

Duba continued to reminiscent on the numerous amounts of problems that this vessel contained. And other than lacking emolit, there was the fact he was, "Short, I think this peasant also has a bit of arthritis, his hair is way to too damn long and heavy his mental fortitude and physical prowess are practically weigh downs because I was barely able to operate this twig of a body to land a real hit on this big guy," Duba complained as he looked at the different parts of this body he had taken. As he regretted on the choices he made out of desperation to have finally found a vessel worthy of beholding his ominous spirit.

This boy's body was frail and yet plaited off with a little bit of muscle that stretched throughout his already thinly body. And to top of the consolidation his soul organs were as fit and healthy as ever. To the point that it forcefully and unconsciously brought his to the conclusion that his health could be on par with regular warrior from the Medayn Era. And that was a sour thought to think of in case of Duba who had barely approval even for his siblings.

His siblings... where were they now? He thought as he then noticed that it had been quite a while since he had actually seen them. With a flash memory coming from his bewildered past as he remembered a flurry of rapid successive motions being performed by a group of people. All bore distinct features to their general appearances, but their swift motion made his memory of them too unclear to recall. But that didn't hinder the grin that lit up on his face as it stretched from ear to ear. And something else had as well got onto his face and that was.

"Rwar!" Swoosh, Bam! The shadow of Kakisa'a dawning fist that he swiftly dodged in turn caused him to crash into the floor nearby with a slightly heavy impact. And his body moved faster than he could think as then found himself plunging his right hand into the ground and swiftly crouching and delivering a might lower spin kick that nearly connected with Duba who barely dodged as the force of Kakisa's kick sent him back a few feet before he steadily caught himself once more. Duba coughed out some soul essence as its rose red radiant glow shimmered upon the surface of his body. He then felt it. Pain.

"Ughhh, that was a good one buddy boy haha." He said as voice came out in a chocked tone as he caught his breathe whilst pressing his left hand the right of this boy's lower ribcage which on the outside looked like a mere scratch on the outside but just like he had done to Kakisa. Had some very evident impact on his insides. He then looked up at Kakisa who looked like he was done with his recovery or what felt like he had been dooing. It was to believe that though. That someone as huge as him... actually got hurt by this scrawny vessels attacks actually to Duba he referred to them 'light touches'.

"Dammit this body won't be able to take on another attack of that magnitude. And I have a very sour feeling that...," Duba muttered to himself in thought as he lingered on looking at the man who stood before him in one of the Great Ten Ado Stances, the Iron Tumbler stance.

*The Iron Tumbler is a beast that has a similar appearance to a rhino but has distinct features such as a white horn that is over a meter and a half long as well as have plates of iron on its legs, head and abdominal areas. This beast inspired the stance that focused on defense over offense yet it still bore a slight blend of the two. And as such addition deviant stances were made from it. Two infact. And they will looked into right about now as-*

"I need to find a way to get this body connected," Duba thought as he took a stance similar to the one Kakisa took but difference between them would be that, Duba's leg were adjusted in a straight supportive and pushed forward leg formation in respective order of left and right legs whilst Kakisa's were having pushed to his front and to his back with foot being bent to rest 180 degrees opposite to his forward foot which faced forward without adjustment. Their upper bodies however were both crouched slightly and with their hands crossed akin to plus shape with a bit if space left between their arms. The right hand was put upright and left horizontally. However, between these two Duba has palms free and unclenched whole Kakisa's were. This evidently showed the little difference in their fighting stances that held more meaning to this story than they thought they they did.

After a while of staring at each other, Kakisa flinched as Duba's eyelids twitched to widen a little as they then bothed flashed out of existence from a moment and found themselves at different corner of the room. While it had happened partially for Duba, that was not quite the case for Kakisa who could manipulate emolin and was there able tk use a commoner skill known as-

"Ahhh, it seems that you can't quite use Hollow Shift to its full potential," Kakisa mocked with a smug look on his face as then shifted once more but-

Swoosh! "Shit!" Duba cursed.

"Shits right." As Kakisa retorted mockingly followed by the thunderous blow that sent Duba flying through shrines main room and out of its wall with a sickening explosion that scares the surrounding spectating crowd.

The debree of the impact settled as quickly as it fell as a fairly large dust could cleared, giving site to the silhouette of an ominous figure that slowly emerged from the darkness inside the shrine. Its pale red eyes seeped through the darkness and the foggy figure of fading dusting. As the sounds of its footsteps that sounded more like deadly warnings echoed from within as it ascended closer and closer to the light.

"Hah, hah, hah, excuse me. Sorry sorry may I go through please?"

Stomp, stomp, stomp!

As the silhouette finally ascended from the darkness behind the figure of Chief Kakisa emerged with a menacing aura that oppressed even the remaining dust molecules of the earlier impact as they fell faster. Clearing the air and site of what looked like.

"Where is he?"

A monster that should not have been awoken.
