Shirley Thorne handed the food and drinks she had promised her sister to the caregiver. Then, she and Florence Langley marched off, full of righteous fury, to find the Vampire couple. On her way down the corridor, she saw a young nurse peeling fruit with a paring knife and casually borrowed it.
