Chloe Sinclair chuckled. "Professor, I said before that the Mark Device could be modified, but we all know full well—is there really any room for modification?"
The researchers in the lab who participated in modifying the Mark Device knew that the so-called "modification" was practically a complete reassembly. Even the core chip had been swapped out.
"That research lab in Meridia has only been working on controllable nuclear fusion for a single year. And how long have you been at it? Ten years! A full ten years!"
