Chloe Sinclair fanned her mouth with her hand, her tongue rolling around to soothe the burn, but she couldn't bear to spit the food out.
"How did I never realize you were such a good cook?"
Jasper Shaw smiled but didn't say anything.
He didn't tell her that aside from making noodles, he'd never cooked anything else.
He'd simply spent the last few days learning several new dishes from the villa's chef, gradually expanding his culinary skills.
Of course, he couldn't possibly tell her that.
After a moment's thought, he joked, "Maybe I'm just a natural at cooking?"
Chloe Sinclair snorted, but on second thought, Jasper's cooking was indeed no worse than a professional chef's.
So she accepted his explanation.
After finishing breakfast, Chloe Sinclair checked her class schedule for the day.
Jasper Shaw glanced over and saw that Chloe had a full schedule.
After a moment of thought, he said tentatively, "I'll drive you there in a bit."
