Gabriel Sinclair was taken aback, a flicker of confusion in his eyes.

Chloe had no choice but to explain. "That song you sang in the car last time? I recorded it, and my recording is time-stamped earlier than Nina Sinclair's backup."
Gabriel's eyes widened in disbelief.
He suddenly burst out laughing, clapping Chloe on the shoulder. "That's my sister, all right," he exclaimed in admiration.
It was like his sister had been sent from heaven to save him.
But Chloe said, "Now's not the time to release the evidence."
Her words made Gabriel pause.
He asked instinctively, "Then when can we release it?"
Chloe's eyes darkened. "A single video will only force Nina to quit the entertainment industry. The public condemnation she'd receive would be a mere slap on the wrist for her."
