"Of course!"
Her unhesitating reply made Roger furious.
Bai Wanwan was already ignoring him, continuing to tend the fire.
After she had been busy for a while, she noticed Roger was still standing in the same spot without moving.
"I'm not planning to roast any meat right now. It's useless for you to be standing around here."
Roger, who was standing beside her, didn't say a word.
This was clearly unusual, so Bai Wanwan turned her head to look at him suspiciously.
Only then did she realize that Roger's gaze was fixed on her lower abdomen.
Bai Wanwan immediately looked down as well. Under the loose animal hide, her slightly bulging belly wasn't actually that noticeable.
"I'm a bit tired and I'm going to take a nap. If you have no other business, you should hurry up and leave."
She had never been polite with Roger, and she was very direct when telling people to leave.
Roger, however, suddenly closed in, nearly pinning her against the stone wall.
