"I can feel that they're almost fully developed. They should be hatching very soon."
Bai Wanwan shifted her gaze from the eggs to Zhu Xiu and asked curiously, "After they hatch, will they need me to nurse them? Or will they eat meat directly?"
"Feed them meat directly. They're not delicate like other animals. You can leave them be."
"Leave them be? Won't they run off into the mountains?"
"They will."
Bai Wanwan frowned. "Then what if they run into the mountains and get eaten by other animals?"
Zhu Xiu's expression was blank, but his words were brutal. "That would be their fate. King Cobras are meant to survive in harsh environments."
'He, too, had grown up that way.'
Bai Wanwan frowned. 'I don't agree. The young should grow up under the care of their Father Beast and Mother.'
'Their chances of survival would be much higher if they only went into the wild after gaining enough skills.'
Just as she was thinking this, Bai Wanwan heard a CRACKING sound.
