Leighton pulled his gaze away from the security cordon and leaned back lazily in his seat. "With a commotion this big, why would they leave her there?"
"Why is the signal so weak?" Belial asked, holding up his terminal. "We need to ask Admiral Andrew about this..."
"You're going to bother him over something like this? Just ask me," Leighton said, pulling out an herbal cake and taking a bite.
"Ask you? And do *you* know where Miss Gu Ning is?" Belial shot him a glare.
He had been bossed around like this the whole trip, and he was long past being annoyed.
Leighton scoffed and mocked him mercilessly. "The way you lot are, you wouldn't be able to get a word in even if you did see her."
