Shen He took down the oil lamp hanging by the door.
He slowly entered the room and walked over to the little female.
Yu Zhizhi watched as a small, warm-yellow oil lamp was placed on the floor in front of her. Seeing the sliver of light put her heart at ease a little.
"Thank you, Lord Shen He."
Yu Zhizhi picked up the small oil lamp and stood up, only to see that the man before her had no intention of leaving.
Only then did she realize that the door had somehow been closed.
A knot of nervousness suddenly formed in her chest.
Shen He took a step forward, and Yu Zhizhi retreated until the backs of her calves hit the edge of the bed, causing her to fall into a sitting position.
"What are you panicking for?" Shen He's tone held a hint of a light chuckle. He bent down, took the oil lamp from the little female's hands, and placed it on a nearby table.
