Balram who was minding his own business did not really care at the start but hearing the same voice continuosely he stopped and turned to take a look, Once he realized who was calling him though he was stunned. Tears started rolling down his eyes, he never imagines being able to see her again.
He was a orphan abandoned by his parents from the start. Balram still remembered those horrible days at the orphanage.
Everything changed for good once Lalitha's parent adopted him and took him to their household. Lalitha was not yet born back then, within one year of his adoption they had Lalitha, but still they never stopped caring about him.
His new parents even sponsored his studies especially with the tough conditions the family was in. Had it been someone else Balram was sure he would be sent to work to make some more money for the family, especially with him being an adopted kid.
When Lalitha was in her sixth class Balram was done with his plus two and joined the Army. She only saw him twice after that and it took quite a while for her to recognize him walking on the sidewalk.
Balram was recruited into a special wing in the army causing him to rarely be able to visit his home. One day when returned back to their home he learned about what happened while he was away.
The thought of his father passing away, Their relatives stealing away their farm lands were hard but it was still okay. But when he learned how Lalitha had run away from home and why she had to do so, from her friends Balram was disturbed.
He was toiling away his life faraway wanting to protect his country, meanwhile this was the reward he got for it. Without a second thought he resigned from the military and started looking for ways to hunt that bas**d Madhusudhan Rao's son while also searching for Lalitha.
Unfortunately he could not find her no matter what, he was able to break one of the guy's legs but was put in jail for it and spent his next couple of years in there.
Once he got out from jail he started looking for his sister again but there were no tracks left to search her. Disappointed he started working as a security guard in Vijayawada while still trying to find Lalitha in his spare time.
When he saw her finally today, he felt liberated. Finally at last he saw her, And she was doing much finer than he had imagined looking at her dress and demeanor. Balram gave her a tight hug and started wailing loudly.
Lalitha too did not say anything and just let her emotions out crying alongside her brother.
"sob sob... i never thought i would be able to see you again Lalli, did you forget you had a brother who cared for you?"
"It's not like that brother, you were away and i did not have anyway to reach you in the army. Mom was so convinced by the relatives and my previous boss that i had no other option other than running away"
"It's okay, i will take care of everything. So who are those people?" He asked pointing the two others who came alongside her.
When Balram noticed a guy and a kid staring at them from the distance getting down from the same jeep Lalitha had just come down from he had a change in expression and questioned his sister about them.
Lalitha explained that the kid in suit was her new boss and the other guy was his driver Balram was finally relieved. Still he had his doubts about how a kid could have his own assistant and a driver.
When he enquired about his family and learned more details from his sister he was even more shocked. He could never imagine someone so down to earth, especially with his experiences in last five years.
When he heard from her that they even provided free lodging that too just beside their house, Balram suddenly had the urge to go visit her house. But it would take some time to get the approval with the lack of security guards who could do their job properly in town. He was popular in the bank he was working at, Now that he finally found his sister Balram did not want to lose his job as the money he gets from this could be used for her wedding.
With Lalitha already being twenty five years old it was his responsibility as a brother to think about all these matters. He had already burned all his savings from the military while trying to search for Lalli as well as taking down that guy's son, both of which he was quite unsuccessful in.
He went to Arjun and thanked him for reuniting him with his sister to which Arjun gave a curt nod. Balram invited them to his house for a cup of tea but Arjun took a look at his watch and seeing it was already past six in the evening and already getting late he politely rejected.
Balram although disappointed could not do anything as he too understood travelling much later in the night would be tough especially with a women alongside these guys.
Lalli informed him that they would visit again the next week and can meet again and gave Arjun's home telephone number to him to reach out if he ever felt like talking to her.
Balram was satisfied with this arrangement and let her go back with them still teary eyed. He never imagined being reunited with his sister in such a manner. This only increased his grudge on those people who made her run away from home.
Bhargav on the jeep meanwhile started teasing Lalitha by repeatedly calling her Lalli whenever he mentioned her causing a slight blush to appear on her face.
When they reached Manginapudi it was already past nine and Arjun invited Lalitha to his home to have some dinner while Bhargav left to his own house.
When his family noticed Arjun coming inside wearing a suit and a couple of bags in his hands they were taken by shock.
Sari came running to him and asked excitedly Anna where did you get these from? they look perfect on you. Are these covers for me? she asked pointing at the covers in his hands.
Arjun gave a small laugh and explained it was for Karan which got her a bit disappointed but it did not matter as Arjun removed his coat and handed her which she wore herself and ran to the mirror to check herself out.
Pratap meanwhile was about to say something but shut up noticing Lalitha entering their home. Kavitha was the only one among them who kept staring at her kid. He liked to see him so dressed and started complimenting his outfit as well as his color choice.
While they were having their dinner Arjun informed them about their meet with Lalitha's brother which satisfied them a lot. Pratap and Kavitha could see how dedicated she was at work and home and felt it was a loss for such a good girl to not have family to take care of her. They even had ideas of adopting her but since her mother was still alive it would not be honorable to do so.
When Pratap enquired Arjun about the suits and hearing four of them together costed over eleven thousand rupees it caused him a mini heart attack. Arjun could see his father's face changing in real time.
Arjun could sense the heat emitting from his father who was sitting almost five feet away. He understood he was in for a solid hearing from him but since Lalitha was still here he was safe for at least now.
Once Lalitha took her leave and Sari was put to bed though Arjun got tense. Even though he was reborn his fear towards his father was never gone from his blood.
Pratap sat Arjun down on a chair and sat opposite to him before he started ranting.
"Arjun do you know what eleven thousand means?"
"Do you know two families could last a whole year with that amount of money? and you spent it on some clothes?"
Just as Arjun was about to reply he got a glare which made him zip his mouth immediately.
"What wearing suits makes you feel richer?"
"Forgetting your roots as soon as you come into bit of money huh?"
Arjun was again about to reply with a sorry but just then his mom came to his rescue.
"What is it Pratap, don't you like to see your kid dressed so perfectly? are you getting jealous?"
