The next few days without any matters of significance. One day before the weekend Bhargav approached Arjun in the evening.
How did it go Anna? did you find out anything about him?
There wasn't much information about his time in Military Arjun, even after his return back he didn't leave any significant clues.
What i can garner from his bank statements and his visits to other places is he truly retired from military as there are no payments form the government after he returned. He does not qualify for pension either as he took the voluntary retirement.
After he got to know about the truth in his village he snooped around Madhusudhan Rao's village for a few months before making his move.
Apparently his plan was going perfectly until a bird disturbed his shot causing him to miss his shot and hit the guy's leg instead of his head.
Later he got caught by the villagers as he was trying to flee the scene. He was given reduced sentence because of his time at the military and once he was released he tried to do the same again but got beat up by the people the farm owner's son had hired.
With his bank empty he could not go on with his antics and had to join as a security guard at the state bank in Vijayawada. Balram had been there since the last three years Bhargav explained.
Hmmm....the absence of any info of his time at military is very suspicious, Usually when people join military their entire career is documented properly but this guy it seems the division he joined was not such a simple one.
How did you get so much intel on his life after military Anna? it's like you were there beside him.
Well it's written inside police files Arjun, all of it. That guy did not even try to hide the fact of him going snooping around the guy even in the investigation.
Arjun was surprised by this, it seemed that either the guy had given up hope which did not really seem realistic or he had a back up plan.
Okay Anna we can talk to the guy tomorrow to let him know what not to speak around Lalitha, from what you've said that guy doesn't seem so bad. Let's hope he is such a guy and not a facade.
The next day Arjun along with Lalitha and Bhargav left to town early in the morning.
The three reached Vijayawada by nine O'clock and checked into their hotel rooms. Lalitha was eager to meet her brother but since she was with Arjun she had to fulfill her duties before going to see Balram.
Arjun sent Bhargav and Lalitha to deliver the newly printed ten thousand copies of All in One's while he left to Saheri's guest house. This was probably going to be the last shipment but Arjun did not yet know the sales figures and was waiting for the report before deciding on anything.
When Arjun reached the guest house he was greeted by the same chief security guard as last time, even though he did not recognize the guy it was the guard who recognized him as soon as he saw him and asked him to wait a bit while his subordinate went to pick up the permit.
So kid what do you do to have dealings with the miss? The chief officer questioned as they were waiting for the guy
I am doing business uncle, i currently own a printing press and going to start a dairy beverage factory soon.
dairy beverage? what's that?
Arjun went on to explain what dairy beverages were, unfortunately he did not bring any samples with him this time and could not offer one for taste.
The security guard was stunned to hear a kid was able to do so much while he was stuck at the gate entrance even though he was more than triple the kid's age. But considering he was that guy's son his genius could be perhaps reasoned with he thought and discussed further about the factory by then the other guard returned with the permit.
Arjun thanked both of them and returned back to the hotel where the two were already waiting for him as they had a jeep while Arjun had to travel using the public bus.
They went ahead to have the lunch early as they did not have anything for breakfast for the day considering they had to leave at six in the morning to come to the town.
This time Lalitha took them to on of the local hotels which only served Andhra meals mentioning it was one of the best spots for lunch.
The meals were quite cheap with three full meals costing only six rupees but considering Lalitha's financial difficulties even this amount to spend on a meal was big. Arjun realized this when Lalitha explained how she usually only had this meal in either holidays or special occasions like festivals when she did not want to eat alone at the home which hit Arjun hard.
Once done with lunch they decided to have a short nap before going to visit Sumanth and others at the studio.
When they reached the new office they had previously visited all of three of them were stunned once again.
It looked more like a bird sanctuary with even small animals roaming around the warehouse while some people were busy at their desks and few others were having fun with the pets.
Sumanth noticing Arjun quickly came up to him and greeted him while looking around to make sure no body was sleeping like last time. Seeing no one was resting he gave a slightly relieved sigh.
They found a investor out of the blue and did not want him to loose their impression especially with how their earlier meet went.
What is it up with all these birds and animals Sumanth Anna, i thought i have already asked you last time to hire a worker to clean up the office space, how come it is worse this time around?
Sumanth who just let out a sigh became stiff again and started looking around. Seeing all the bird droppings and fur all around the office he felt Arjun had a point.
Well Arjun didn't you say last time to take more inspiration from the real life animals and birds? Vinod felt it would be perfect if we could observe different species while we are designing and rented them from the nearby zoo for a couple of months. Rest assured Arjun we even hired a couple of care takers to take care of them.
Okay well you guys took it too far but since you say it'll help with the designing i will let this slide but what's up with the hygiene conditions?
Well the cleaner usually comes in the morning, but today since it's a weekend she did not come by Sumanth tried to explain.
It's not good enough Anna, you're now manager of this studio. All these stuff are your responsibility to handle Arjun replied sternly and suggested to hire an extra cleaner to clean on evenings and weekends.
Sumanth hurriedly accepted the suggestions while looking down unable to see mocking expression on the new woman's face.
What he did not realize though was Lalitha had no such thoughts, she just felt it was funny to watch a grown man being admonished by a kid but even she felt Arjun had a point. Even though she liked the thought of working in such environment filled with animals, The hygiene was not at all up to her standards.
Arjun took a while to observe others working and joined Vinod at his desk to checkout the new designs. Even though the new designs were less than ten they were much better and were more to his liking especially with the fewer strokes Arjun felt any kid who was decent at drawing could draw these.
When he mentioned this to Vinod he got a surprised look and Vinod explained this was what he was going for and since Arjun could see it then his endeavor was a success.
Arjun then suggested a few more improvements for the newer versions but asked them not to be too strict with his guidelines and keep on experimenting with designs. Arjun felt they still needed time to adapt to these new design principles and did not put up any unnecessary deadlines yet.
He then gathered the story team who were just a couple of kids hanging around with no work to do yet and explained them brief overview of the world and how it should be children friendly to the max. He asked them make a few drafts for him to look at by the next week and left alongside the other two.
He did not forget to hand a couple hundred bills to Sumanth to take the team for dinner as he was happy with their current progress.
