"A brilliant move, Coach."
Mahomes muttered, taking out his mouthguard.
In the broadcast booth, Troy Aikman finally found his opening, shaking his head repeatedly at the halftime stats.
"This is insane, Joe. Li Wei's first half was nothing short of miraculous, but no one has the stamina to keep that up," he declared. "I predict the Kansas City Chiefs will mount a full-scale comeback in the third quarter."
Joe Buck was also at a loss for words, but his logical side told him that after playing such a high-intensity game for so long, anyone's stamina should be hitting rock bottom.
"But so far, Li Wei hasn't shown any signs of fatigue," he said. "And Li Wei is just an 18-year-old kid. We can't compare him to players who are, on average, nearly ten years older."
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see, Joe," Troy said confidently. "The third quarter is about to start. We'll be right back after a commercial break..."
「The fifteen-minute halftime flew by in an instant.」
