"Are you going to keep hiding?"
The flat voice echoed down the street. Lu Chao stood calmly in place, gazing into the distance.
Passersby froze, stunned. In their line of sight, members of the patrol team lay strewn across the ground, vomiting blood, grievously wounded and unconscious.
Instinctively, the crowd followed Lu Chao's gaze.
About seven or eight meters away, by the roadside, next to an SUV that was twisted and mangled from a collision, a strange sound came from a black sedan.
CLICK.
The car door opened, and a figure emerged.
He wore a black woolen overcoat over a suit vest, complete with a dark bow tie.
His features were fairly strong, but the bridge of his nose was slightly crooked, giving him a somewhat sinister air. His face wore an expression of surprise, his brow tightly furrowed with a hint of astonishment and confusion.
"A Secret Technique?"
"Or a body-hardening art?"
