Deep in the quiet of the night, Luo Feifei heard the even, slow, and long breaths of her mother beside her and knew she was asleep. At that moment, a tantalizing aroma wafted in from outside.
She quietly got out of bed and slipped out of the room.
There, she saw Li Xiang on the terrace outside, seemingly making a barbecue.
"It smells so good," Luo Feifei said, her lips curling up slightly. 'Brother Xiang is so thoughtful.' She passed through the living room and the balcony, arriving at the large side terrace.
"Come and eat. It's been ready for a while." Li Xiang beckoned and pointed to the chair opposite him.
Luo Feifei went over and sat down.
