This city wall was much taller than a courtyard wall, a good ten meters tall.
The walls were faced with Haiman and patrolled by soldiers year-round.
Even after nightfall, they would light torches.
'Never mind that Qin Fang probably couldn't leap ten meters high... even if he could, he'd almost certainly be spotted by the patrolling guards. Getting caught would be a huge hassle.'
So, Qin Fang decided to have Monkey contact his Senior Brother first. His Senior Brother was well-connected and would likely have a way to sneak him in.
Upon hearing this, Monkey quickly said, "Yes!"
"Mm... alright, I'll wait for news from you here."
Qin Fang said to Monkey as the city gates came into faint view up ahead.
Monkey nodded and hurried toward the city gate.
He was a local and carried his Identity document with him. Qin Fang watched as his Identity was checked before he entered the city without a hitch.
He settled in to wait patiently.
