When Miles Sterling saw Aria return, he looked up and smiled. "Aria, you're back? Go wash up. It's time for dinner."
She nodded, finding it a bit strange that her grandfather seemed to be in a particularly good mood today.
By the time Aria had washed her hands and sat down at the dining table, the smile on Miles Sterling's face seemed even wider than before.
"Aria, I hear you've been getting close with the young man from the Grant family?"
Miles knew of the Zenith Group; it was a nationally renowned company. And though Julian Grant rarely made public appearances, Miles had heard a few things about him.
Aria didn't expect her grandfather to bring this up and was taken aback for a moment.
"Oh, right. He's a very good friend of mine."
Miles Sterling placed a piece of meat on her plate, his tone probing. "Friends? You haven't thought about taking things further?"
