"Is Wenwen getting jealous?"
Seeing that she had only misunderstood and wasn't suspicious of anything else, he quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Then, a hint of joy blossomed in his heart.
'So all my schemes and efforts weren't in vain. Is she finally starting to like me?'
He was so excited that his whole body trembled slightly.

Suddenly, a crisp sound rang out as a fierce slap landed on his face.
The slap completely sobered him up. The joy and excitement vanished, and he calmed down. He gently grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, blowing on it softly.
"You hit so hard. Doesn't your hand hurt?"
His behavior infuriated her. Not wanting him to touch her at all, she tried to pull her hand away, but he held it too tightly. No matter how she struggled, she couldn't break free.
She gritted her teeth and said furiously, "Let go of me!"
"I won't. I'll never let you go in this lifetime."
