"Wh-where's our child?"
Hu Yue'e froze for a moment.
"Weren't they just with you?"
The two of them quickly looked down for their child, only to see the little one marching huffily out from the Feng Family Manor crowd. He walked up to his parents and stomped on each of their feet.
Feng Jihen sighed in relief, picking up the child and placing them in Hu Yue'e's arms.
Hu Yue'e also breathed a sigh of relief and said to Feng Jihen:
"Go. If you die, I'll wait until Tong'er turns eighteen, and then I will follow you.
"You'll just have to wait for me on the Naihe Bridge for a dozen years or so."
"Alright. When the time comes, even if they try to chase me away, I won't leave."
Feng Jihen smiled, then strode over to Fang Shuwen's side.
"Brother, I'm here to help you!"
Fang Shuwen gave Feng Jihen a puzzled look.
"Help me with what?"
"Help you kill these villains!"
