As he spoke, the officer seemed to finally notice that Qi Lianxiu was still wearing a face mask, even inside the police station. He gestured casually toward him.
"Sir, please cooperate with us. You're at the station now, so please take off your mask."
Qi Lianxiu didn't make a fuss. He removed his mask without hesitation, and after a moment's thought, took off his hat as well.
Once it was off, he even gave his hair a flamboyant flick to make sure the hat hadn't ruined his carefully arranged style.
