Da Hu and Xiao Hu woke up to find their Beast Father dressing them.
Xiao Hu groggily rubbed his eyes and muttered, 'This can't be right. I must still be asleep. Why is Beast Father here…'
"You're awake," Feng Xuan said, pinching his little cheek. "You ungrateful little things. You didn't even tell your Beast Father where you were going. You worried me to death."
Xiao Hu tapped his fingers together and giggled. "Beast Father, we left you a note. Big Brother wrote it."
Feng Xuan huffed. "That's still not good enough!"
While his little brother was being scolded, Da Hu tried to sneak away on tiptoe, but he hadn't taken two steps before Feng Xuan hauled him back.
"Da Hu, you too."
Feng Xuan sneered. "In the note you left for me, you got four characters wrong out of ten. I've made a note of it."
'Why make a note of it?'
'To tattle on them to Yu An once she gets her memory back, of course.'
Da Hu wore a long face. Once they were ready, the father and his two sons left together.
