Heart still pounding with fear, Su Yu told Ren Qing and the others about the strange things she had seen on Habakkuk. The color had yet to return to her face.
Recalling the hysterical cries for help she had just heard, her expression grew vacant. "Just now... I think I heard someone crying for help..."
Huai Xu and Earl Li glanced at each other. Frowning, Huai Xu said, "But in our eyes, Habakkuk just looked like a normal male transforming into his human form. We didn't see the tall, dark shadow you mentioned."
Ren Qing nodded. "Forget a shadow, we didn't see a single black hair on him."
Habakkuk's beast form must have white fur. His hair, eyelashes, and even the hair on his legs were all light-colored. Even the Beast Skin Skirt he wore was a white-and-brown-spotted pattern.
They couldn't see a speck of black on him.
Su Yu froze, staring at the three of them in dismay. "You couldn't see it?"
Earl Li shook his head. "No, but..."
