Shi Wei hadn't expected Ness to be so persistent. His face darkened as he swiped a claw at him. "Yu Yu has rejected you countless times. Can't you take a hint?"
Ness nimbly dodged Shi Wei's claw and shot back, "That was ages ago. Maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder. Who's to say Yu Yu doesn't have feelings for me now?"
He said this while looking at Su Yu, seeking her agreement. "Right, Yu Yu?"
Before Su Yu could answer, he added smugly, "Shi Wei, I'm a Six-star Beastman now. I'm the strongest in our tribe. I even replaced you as the number one Warrior. I am now worthy of standing by Yu Yu's side."
Shi Wei sneered. "Whether you're worthy is for Yu Yu to decide, not you."
"Besides," Shi Wei raised an eyebrow, unleashing his aura with a defiant arrogance. "A Six-star Beastman. Is that supposed to be strong?"
A tyrannical aura erupted from Shi Wei, spreading in all directions. Caught completely off guard, Ness's legs went weak, and he collapsed to his knees.
Ness: "???"
