The next day, Su Yu woke early. After breakfast, she planned to find Alek and have him lead her to the beastmen who had been captured entering the Central Wilderness alone these past few days.
She had just lifted the Beast Skin curtain at her door when her eyes met with Nelson and Big Beard, who were standing outside.
Nelson's hand was raised, frozen in the middle of lifting the Beast Skin curtain himself.
Su Yu looked slightly surprised. "Why are you two here so early? Have you been waiting long? Why didn't you come in?"
"The Second Elder sent me to see if you were awake and to take you to see the captured beastmen," Nelson said, calmly lowering his hand. He added, "I just got here."
Standing behind Nelson, Big Beard glanced at him and rolled his eyes in exasperation. 'He was here before dawn, and he says he "just got here"?'
