A pale blue barrier of light arched high above, completely enclosing the entire city.
Beyond the city walls lay a scorched, barren earth, pocked with craters and stained with blood. Cultivators zipped past, and streaks of light flashed across the sky before vanishing.
As he flew through the sky, the ground below unfolded before him. In the distance, the towering, giant city was now clearly visible.
