"Hey, want to grab some milk tea first?" Shen Yuan asked suddenly as they walked.
Li Zhi glanced at Shen Yuan, a questioning look in her eyes.
Shen Yuan continued, "I haven't had any in a while. Want to go together? It's still early, anyway."
Li Zhi blinked, then nodded. "Your treat."
"Of course. My idea, my treat."
"Let's go, then."
It wasn't like Li Zhi needed to lose weight. The mental exertion of senior year was immense, and she desperately needed a lot of energy to keep up.
Milk tea was a great way to get it.
There were tons of milk tea shops around Jiyang Middle School. Shen Yuan chose a chain he frequented, saving him the effort of having to think about it.
After ordering on his phone, Shen Yuan led Li Zhi on a leisurely stroll to the milk tea shop, and then they strolled just as leisurely back to school.
Even though it was a Sunday, the school wasn't entirely deserted.
There were young couples strolling on the track and student athletes still training.
