With the director's call of "Cut!", the atmosphere on set instantly livened up.
Ivy Holden glanced at Irving Jacobs. Irving handed the thermos in her hand to Gene Aldrin. "This soup is for Director Morrison."
"Thank you." Gene Aldrin gave Ivy Holden a slight bow.
Ivy Holden's phone rang. She smiled, gesturing for Gene Aldrin to go deliver the soup, then turned to answer the call. "Hello, Erick Winters."
"Sheldon Spencer has been released," Erick Winters said helplessly.
"So soon?" Ivy Holden knew Sheldon Spencer would be released, but she hadn't expected it to be this fast.
"Apparently, the order came from above. They said it was due to international pressure."
"Mm, I understand." Ivy Holden sneered. 'So that's why Amanda Spencer refused to confess. Sheldon Spencer is a foreign national; once you factor that in, many things become far more complicated.'
"Even though he's been released, it won't affect what happens next."
