"You bought that villa in Greenwood Estates?" Ivy Holden asked in surprise.
Carson Holden shook his head. "Your Auntie Morrison bought it. She was afraid you wouldn't be happy about it, so she didn't tell you. After she bought it, she gave the deed and the keys to me."
"No wonder the locks weren't even changed after the house was sold. I was wondering who bought the place as an investment, waiting for its value to go up." Ivy Holden pouted, then raised her glass to Jensen Morrison. "Please thank Auntie Morrison for me. I'll wire her the money back later, okay? As for the appreciation in value, I'll have the finance department calculate it based on the current market price…"
"Hold on!" Jensen Morrison interrupted, placing a couple of tender bamboo shoots into Ivy Holden's bowl. "We're family, why make everything so complicated? Or maybe, deep down, you've never thought of my mom and me as family?"
