Dinner was a war of words, with sparks flying all around.
Ivy Holden put down her wine glass and asked Ian Rowan, "So, who won between you two just now?"
"Me, of course." Ian held his head high like a feisty little rooster.
"Good. Then how about you spar with me later?" Ivy smiled.
Jensen Morrison immediately vetoed the idea. "You just ate. No strenuous exercise."
Ian shot Jensen a look. "As much as I hate him, he's right about that. If you want to practice boxing, Ivy, I'll train with you tomorrow. Let's skip it for today."
"You're always so bossy. It's one thing if you won't spar with me, but now you won't let anyone else either?" Ivy glared at Jensen, annoyed.
"I'm just looking out for you. If you want to practice, I'll take you to a boxing gym another day. They have all the proper equipment there." Jensen popped the last piece of meat from his plate into his mouth and chewed it slowly.
"A boxing gym? What gym?" Ian's interest was immediately piqued.
