Pei Ye slapped him on the head. A bone-cracking sound echoed, and the Ghost Driver's head twisted a full one hundred and eighty degrees.
"Say that again. Was it you?"
Beaten to the point of tears, the Ghost Driver cradled his head and curled up, shivering. "Boss, you're trying to beat a confession out of me..."
"Beat a confession out of you, my ass," Pei Ye said viciously. "I'll ask you one more time. Did you kill that woman?"
The Ghost Driver was speechless. How was he supposed to answer?
If he admitted to killing the woman, Pei Ye would definitely not spare him. If he denied killing her, Pei Ye still wouldn't spare him. Caught in a dilemma, the Ghost Driver chose to break down and cry.
Why was it so hard to be a ghost?
"I'm in a very bad mood right now," Pei Ye threatened. "If you dare cry one more time, I'll really twist your head off and kick it like a ball."
