Lianne lifted her gaze and, seeing who it was, her expression turned to astonishment.
It wasn't just her; even Claire Donovan and her friend, who were standing a couple of steps away, were taken aback.
Ethan Sinclair was actually walking toward Lianne!
Ethan Sinclair sized up Lianne, his eyes softening slightly. "Did you forget the way to the rear courtyard?"
Lianne had failed her driver's license test a few times, so Ethan Sinclair assumed she had a poor sense of direction and was slightly directionally challenged.
"I remember." Lianne gestured with the champagne flute in her hand. "I'm just going to put this down first."
Ethan Sinclair gave a slight lift of his finger, and a waiter who had been observing him from a distance immediately came over.
Ethan Sinclair took the champagne flute from Lianne's hand, placed it on the waiter's tray, and asked, "Anything else?"
"That's all."
