After being driven off the set, Shen Lu didn't leave right away. She found a rather conspicuous spot and waited.
Xue Can asked, confused, "Boss Shen, is there something else?"
Shen Lu watched Qin Shuangshu, who was looking all around. "The person I'm waiting for is here."
Qin Shuangshu quickly found Shen Lu, walked over, and invited her up to a room.
The lower floors of the Chenhai Building were a shopping mall, the middle floors were offices, and the top floor was residential.
However, the elevators for each section weren't interconnected. They were all dedicated elevators.
Li Zexing had an apartment in the Chenhai Building that he rarely used. He would occasionally host friends there whom he couldn't very well bring home, so a cleaner came by regularly to tidy up and restock fruits and tea bags for guests.
Qin Shuangshu keyed in the code to open the door and invited Shen Lu and Xue Can inside.
"So, Boss Shen, what brings you to see Ze Xing today?"
