Rosalind Lowell saw him as a younger brother. Pleased, she stood on her tiptoes to pat his head. "You used to be so small from malnutrition, it was easy to pat your head. Now I have to stand on my tiptoes to reach."
Mason Quinn leaned down slightly. "I can bend down so you can reach."
Rosalind Lowell chuckled, covering her mouth. But when she turned, she saw Alaric Davenport standing there with a dark expression on his face.
"Alaric? Why are you here?"
"Should I have stayed away? And waited for the news reports about you cheating on me?"
