Sato murmured after finishing the report lying on his desk, which detailed the rising kingdom that had recently appeared in the outside world and begun attracting widespread attention.
In truth, ever since Sato had returned to the family and taken responsibility for its administration, he had long since stopped paying much attention to the constant wars, conflicts, rising kingdoms, and collapsing nations beyond their borders. The outside world, as a whole, had become distant from his daily concerns, which were now focused almost entirely on managing a family of such immense size and complexity .a task that demanded continuous attention in countless directions.
However, what drew his attention to this new kingdom was not mere curiosity. The first reason he had requested the report and read it so carefully was because his father, Dan, had once again issued a direct order forbidding any member of the Walt Family from interfering in the affairs of this kingdom, while also instructing them to avoid any conflict with it under any circumstances. Whenever Dan issued an order of this nature, he always had a genuine reason behind it.
As for the Blue Dragon Kingdom, it had always maintained a peaceful foreign policy dating back to the reign of its founding king, Ayato. It sought conflict with no nation and only fought when attacked first. Because of this, Sato was not particularly worried about an accidental clash between his kingdom and the rising Kingdom of Gelel. Nevertheless, a direct warning from his father always deserved careful thought and understanding.
"I should send that child a message about this."
Sato muttered to himself as he placed the report back on the table. The current king of the Blue Dragon Kingdom belonged to the Ayato bloodline, which had become intertwined with the Walt Family through generations of intermarriage. He was Sato's own great-grandson, and Sato had personally trained him for a time while the boy was still living within the family estate before ascending to the throne.
The second matter that captured Sato's attention concerned the founder of the Kingdom of Gelel and the circumstances surrounding its birth. The man who established this kingdom which had already become a notable regional power had originally been a student at one of the Blue Dragon Kingdom's academies, where he had benefited greatly from the education he received.
From the very beginning, Dan had imposed a strict rule forbidding the leakage of the family's scientific knowledge and advanced technology into the outside world. He had no intention of directly altering the course of history or disrupting the natural progression of civilization according to the grand plan he envisioned. Releasing technologies centuries ahead of their time would force civilizations to skip entire stages of development, and that was precisely what he wished to avoid.
Instead, Dan had encouraged the teaching of the philosophy of experimental science and logical reasoning throughout the academies established by the Blue Dragon Kingdom. Rather than handing people scientific discoveries, he taught them how to think scientifically. Rather than giving them answers, he taught them how to ask the right questions, conduct experiments, measure results, and build knowledge one step at a time.
As the years passed, this philosophy led to remarkable progress in research and learning throughout the Blue Dragon Kingdom and the regions influenced by it. Humanity had not yet reached the Industrial Revolution the gap between scientific methodology and full industrialization was simply too great to cross within a single generation or even several . but medicine, engineering, agriculture, navigation, and many other fields had advanced considerably, noticeably improving everyday life.
The brilliant young man who would eventually found the Kingdom of Gelel had flourished within this intellectual environment. His exceptional intelligence allowed him not only to absorb the knowledge that was taught, but also to grasp the philosophical foundations beneath it and the logic connecting every piece together. After graduating from the academy and beginning his own ambitious project, he did not merely apply what he had learned . he expanded upon it and built an entire institutional framework.
When he established the Kingdom of Gelel, he modeled its foundations after those of the Blue Dragon Kingdom: organized institutions, a strong emphasis on education, and written laws replacing inconsistent oral traditions. It was this solid institutional structure that allowed the Kingdom of Gelel to grow far more rapidly than the neighboring nations.
The third and final point that drew Sato's particular attention, however, was something his father Dan had personally told him regarding this kingdom.
