"Now all I need to do a beast that looks trash but is secretly divine." he thought as the Awakening ceremony was also over and now the Headmaster walked back on stage.
The Headmaster begun to give a long and boring speech, but Jaden wasn't paying attention to him. Instead, he was thinking how to get an powerful beast easily with his funds.
Soon, the speech ended, and Jaden happily went to collect the support money from the Academy.
All students received this support fund — he wasn't special in that regard. However, it comes with a condition either reach Rank 2 or higher and make the academy proud, or pay back all the money to Academy.

"I only have 500,000 gold coins. Can you suggest a good beast within this price range?" Jaden asked wondering if this store have any hidden gem.
The old man nodded.
"Of course. Please come with me."
Jaden followed him.
Over the last ten years, Jaden had saved 500,000 gold coins from various small part-time jobs and other odd tasks he had taken on for this exact day.
And now, with the additional 100,000 gold coins in sponsorship from the academy, he had a total of 600,000 gold coins.
Now he will see if he can get a good beast within as less price as he can and rest will be used for training and other required needs for his beast.
The old man took him to a section where many small beasts were running around. All of them were like small fluff balls as they moved around chirping and letting out cute voices.
"As you can see, we have many beasts here with the potential to reach Rank 3. You can make your choice from this area," he said, stepping aside.

In this world, every 100 levels were considered one Rank.
