Mazikean walked into a room where Corvus was staring at a number of screens.
"Everything is ready," She said to Corvus.
"Finally, get the priest ready for the coronation," Corvus said and swiveled in his chair.
Somewhere in the same building, Sara tries to fit the key she found into a keyhole. As she did, she heard footsteps and put the key in her mouth and swallowed it.
The door opened and Mazikean walked in with Zax and Festus.
They grabbed her and she tried to fight them off. Mazikean swung and her palm connected with Sara's cheeks.
The sound bounced off the walls.
"Behave yourself, today I take my place by Corvus' side as his queen," Mazikean said as Sara stared at her with an intense frown.
"Don't ruin my big day," she added.
Zax and Festus dragged Sara to the rooftop. She was dressed in a purple ceremonial attire with gold etchings.
Demonic guards lined up from the elevator to the sitting arrangement. They escorted her to the platform, and they handed her a gold-plated demonic grimoire with black insignias.
Minutes later the elevator opened and a demonic guard walked Nathan out. He escorted him to a seat in the back.
Not long after, Mazikean walked out of the elevator in a black and gold wedding gown.
"I thought you said you found the council?" Mazikean whispered to Zax.
"Yes, we could only get one council member to attend," Zax explained.
Mazikean practiced her posture as she waited by the elevator for Corvus.
After, what felt like days the elevator doors opened. Mazikean smiled as she walked towards the elevator.
Her smile disappeared when Corvus walked out with someone else. A red-haired woman with sharp cheekbones and pale blue eyes.
They wore matching red attire with gold etchings. Over them, they wore black ceremonial capes with gold embroidery.
Mazikean stepped back, and she watched as they walked out. When they got to her they stopped.
Corvus glared at her and she quickly stepped aside and apologised. She bowed and kept her head down until the pass.
"Who is that?"
She asked Festus when they were a little further away.
"That's Rowena, the daughter of the council member," Festus explained.
Mazikean took a deep breath, then breathed out. She shivered with rage with every breath.
She then walked into the elevator.
She pushed a button but the doors stayed open. She pushed it again and again. As the door closed she punched and kicked the button some more.
At the rooftop, Sara recognised Nathan. Guards walked to Corvus and Rowena and took off their capes behind.
Immediately they did, and it revealed Rowena's stunning red gown. Corvus on the other hand was in a red double-breasted suit adorned with gold trinkets.
"Today we unit this two in the presence of the council. By the power of evil, I bond Corvus Crow and Rowena McLord," Sara said then put her arm out.
Rowena placed her hand in hers and Sara cut her palm with a small dagger. She then took Corvus' hand and did the same.
"I seal this bond by the blood," Corvus and Rowena said as they feed their blood to each other.
"By the power of evil, this bond is sealed," Sara said, and the crowd cheered.
Nathan watched as everyone but three attendees cheered. They nodded at each other.
