*Chapter 5: Nighttime Stroll*
The night air was alive with the sound of music and laughter as Ava and Max strolled along the Danube. The Chain Bridge loomed ahead, its iron latticework shimmering in the moonlight.
As they walked, Ava felt a sense of freedom she'd never experienced before. The city seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, lost in conversation.
Max pointed to a street performer playing a haunting melody on his violin. Ava's eyes closed, and she let the music wash over her.
When she opened them, Max was watching her, a soft smile on his face. "You love music, don't you?"
Ava nodded, feeling a spark of connection. "I do. It's like... it speaks to something inside me."
Max's eyes crinkled at the corners. "I know exactly what you mean."
As the music faded, they continued their walk, the silence between them comfortable.
Ava's phone buzzed, breaking the spell. She glanced at the screen – it was Rachel, checking in.
Max noticed the look on her face. "Everything okay?"
Ava smiled. "Just my friend Rachel. Wanting to know how the trip is going."
Max's eyes sparkled. "Tell her it's going amazingly."
Ava's heart skipped a beat as she typed out a response. She couldn't help but feel like this trip was about to get a whole lot more interesting.
As they approached the Parliament Building, Max turned to her with a mischievous grin. "Want to sneak in a photo with me?"
Ava's eyes widened. "Isn't that, like, illegal?"
Max winked. "Not if we're quick."
