Damon Young replied, "Unfortunately, Freya Finch is already dead."
"Even if she's dead, I'm taking her body back."
Nina Jacobs had no intention of giving up. She had a feeling these people were hiding something.
Even if Freya Finch was dead, she had to see it for herself.
Just as Damon Young was about to press the issue, a voice interrupted him.
"Damon Young, stop stirring up trouble.
Even if Felix Finch is gravely injured, you have to let him see his child one last time!"
A scrawny, middle-aged man stepped out and said angrily.
Nina Jacobs's expression flickered. 'See the child one last time?'
'It seems Freya Finch isn't dead yet.'
The man looked to be in his fifties. He still carried an air of authority when he spoke, but likely due to hunger, he was gasping for breath after just a few words.
"Dad."
Kelly Ainsworth called out from the side.
