I found myself paying attention to how little he ate.
Alexander had always been a picky eater.
Just like Aimy.
Even before, he never ate much.

He barely touched the food before quietly putting down his utensils.

Alexander stood up to put the used container away, but Aunt Veronica quickly reached for it.
"Just give it to me. It's alright."

He simply handed it to her before returning to his seat.

I truly noticed how much he had changed.
He had become noticeably slimmer.
Dark circles rested beneath his eyes.
It looked as though he'd tried his best to hide them...
But I still noticed.
Everything about him seemed different.
Even his usually cold eyes had become sharper...
More intimidating...
More tired.
