"Here, take a Cinccino and go play over there."
"Hehe! So you evolved Cinccino, hehe!"
"Cin~" (Silas, save meeee!)
Anne wiped the tears from her eyes. "Big brother, how did you guess?"
Silas placed his hands on his hips and snorted proudly. "Because in our world there is no Pokémon called Mewtwo at all. I passed the Elite Trainer examination with a perfect score. I know every single Pokémon."
"So amazing, big brother."
Ann's eyes turned into sparkling stars as admiration appeared on her face.
"Alright, tell me about you and Mewtwo. That Pokémon is very dangerous."
Silas's playful expression disappeared as he grew serious.
Shadow Mewtwo was not something to joke about.
In the Pokkén story, it had nearly drained the energy of an entire region, almost causing the destruction of the Ferrum Region.
Compared to the original Mewtwo, the Shadow Mewtwo possessed by the Shadow Synergy Stone was far more dangerous.
It perfectly demonstrated the saying that becoming evil makes someone ten times stronger.
"So you came from the future?"
"Yes, big brother."
"And Mewtwo brought you here?"
Anne shook her head rapidly like a rattling drum. It clearly was not Mewtwo.
Just as Silas was about to ask another question, Ann's eyes suddenly widened and she pointed behind him.
"The Pokémon that brought me here is the one behind you."
Silas turned around.
The Pokémon behind him also turned around.
He turned again.
It turned with him again.
"Who are you?"
"Bii~"
The moment the Pokémon opened its mouth, Silas suddenly spun around.
Before he could clearly see it, the Pokémon leapt into his arms.
Its fluffy body felt like a soft cloud, about the same size as Cinccino.
It rubbed its head against Silas as if the two of them were extremely close.
Out of habit, Silas reached out and scratched it gently. The Pokémon let out a soft, adorable "Bii" cry.
Its pure emerald green eyes looked at Silas curiously.
Then the little creature reached into Silas's spatial shoulder bag and took out the last piece of Ultra-Fragrant Sweet Poké Poffin inside.
Before Silas could react, it flashed away and vanished.
"Big Brother, what Pokémon was that just now? Mewtwo and I encountered it, and then we suddenly appeared here."
"That?"
Silas let out a quiet laugh.
"The beloved child of the world, the forest deity that possesses the power to travel through time. Celebi."
The Celebi that had just stolen his last unique poffin was even more special.
It was a shiny one.
"Big brother, if we find it, can Mewtwo and I return to the world we came from?"
"That's right."
Silas nodded in agreement.
However, before that happened, they first needed to find Shadow Mewtwo. They could not leave it in this timeline.
"Ann, do you know where Mewtwo might go?"
The girl shook her head.
"Mewtwo is very special. It never talks to me."
"Then what would attract Mewtwo?"
"Synergy Stones."
As she spoke, Anne took out a fist sized Synergy Stone.

In the latter half of Route 12's grasslands, Silas came to find the local boss Pokémon, Pyroar.
When Pyroar saw him, it leapt down from the high cliff where it usually rested and landed beside him.
Following closely behind it, three Litleo that were slightly larger than before attempted to imitate the same move.
Silas, Korrina, and Anne all closed their eyes as a series of thudding sounds echoed beside them.
The three Litleo rolled and tumbled down the cliff, eventually landing in a messy heap with large bumps swelling on their heads.
Silas thought to himself that this was impressive.
Was this how boss Pokémon raised their children?
No wonder they were stronger than ordinary Pokémon.
Because if they did not grow stronger, they might actually die.
Pyroar glanced down at the dizzy Litleo rolling around below, but its amber eyes showed no reaction at all.
Its tail, stiff like a steel whip, swept across the ground and pressed down the two Litleo that were trying to stand up.
The Litleo were stubborn enough though.
Despite the bumps on their heads, they let out childish little roars and chased after Pyroar again.
"Long time no see, Pyroar."
Silas stepped forward with the two girls and greeted it.
Before he could say anything further, the three Litleo suddenly pounced on him.
Now that they had entered their growth stage, the three Litleo looked exactly like fluffy balls of yarn, round and adorable.
Silas first lifted the Litleo sitting on his chest and scratched its chin. Then he gently moved aside the two that were clinging to his legs so they could stand properly.
"One poffin each. No fighting."
After receiving their delicious poffin from Silas, the Litleo ran off chasing each other playfully.
One of them ran smugly over to Pyroar and showed off its snack.
As expected, Pyroar immediately knocked it over with a single paw, caught the falling poffin in its mouth, and swallowed it whole.
The defeated Litleo sat there stunned for two seconds.
Then it let out a pitiful little roar.
It did not cry, but simply sat there blankly.
The other two Litleo saw what happened and quickly devoured their own poffins in huge bites, even licking the crumbs from their mouths.
Silas could not help laughing at the scene.
He walked over, picked up the unfortunate Litleo, scratched its chin, and gave it another P poffin as compensation.
After watching the little Litleo dash away happily, Silas chatted with Pyroar about recent events before finally explaining the reason for his visit.
"It's like this, Pyroar…"
Silas briefly explained the situation regarding Shadow Mewtwo.
"Please notify the Pokémon living along Route 12. If anyone encounters it, tell them to inform me immediately."
"Roar!"
Pyroar understood the seriousness of the matter and agreed.
After it let out a loud roar, several Zigzagoon quickly ran over from the distance.
They communicated briefly with Pyroar, then dashed off in different directions to notify the Pokémon living along Route 12.
Silas had done everything he could.
However, he still believed the chances of finding Shadow Mewtwo were rather low.
"Ann, would it be alright if you stay at my ranch for the next few days?"
"No problem, big brother."
"Big brother Silas, Korrina wants to stay too."
"Alright."
Leaving Anne alone in an unfamiliar place would not be good, so Korrina accompanying her was necessary.
It only meant adding two more pairs of chopsticks at the table. Silas readily agreed.
After informing Gym Leader Gurkinn, the two girls returned to the ranch with him.
Korrina had not visited for one or two months, and the many changes at the ranch made her exclaim repeatedly in amazement.
"Wow! Big Brother Silas, your ranch has so many more Pokémon now!"
"So amazing. There are so many that Korrina doesn't even recognize."
"There's even watermelon to eat. Big Brother Silas is incredible."
Each one of Korrina's praises caused Silas's grin to stretch from ear to ear.
He smiled and rubbed her hair.
"The garden is over there. Jigglypuff and Popplio are playing there. Let Cinccino take you two to play. I'll prepare your beds first. Do you two want to sleep together or separately?"
"Together. Anne is very soft and smells nice. I love hugging Anne while sleeping."
At Silas's feet, Riolu shot him a pitiful look.
Clearly it had arrived first.
Korrina pulled Anne away while calling for Riolu and Jangmo-o to follow them.
Silas shook his head lightly and entered the ranch house with the Indeedee siblings.
No one noticed the small pink figure sitting on the roof.
Holding the poffin, the little creature took small bites, looking completely satisfied.
Silas had once told it that if it ever encountered a problem it could not solve, it could come find him.
Although those words had been spoken in the past.
For Celebi, however, that meant Silas had only just promised it.
So it had brought the strange Pokémon here.
