Surrounded by dense Dragon type energy, the pair of wings above its head spread wide as Mega Dragonite surged forward wrapped in violent winds, charging straight toward the Shadow Mewtwo that was currently clashing with Miraidon.
Not far behind it, Mega Kangaskhan followed closely. On each of its shoulders stood Mega Phione and the small Mega baby Kangaskhan.
Above Phione's head floated a tiny Sea Crown that glowed with light. It raised its little hand and pointed toward Miraidon in the middle of battle, casting the move Take Heart.
In an instant, Miraidon's special attack and special defense were boosted, allowing it to temporarily suppress Shadow Mewtwo.
Mega Dragonite arrived immediately afterward.
Before Shadow Mewtwo could react, a cluster of Dragon type energy condensed above the battlefield, forming a glowing sphere. In the next moment a devastating Draco Meteor rained down toward it.
Broken stones and fragments of energy exploded everywhere.
Shadow Mewtwo was forced to abandon its clash with Miraidon and hurriedly dodge to the side in a somewhat awkward manner while gathering psychic power to block most of the attack.
However, one Dragon meteor still grazed its shoulder.
A crack instantly appeared across its body.
"Kang!"
Mega Kangaskhan's attack arrived slightly later but with perfect timing. It kicked off the ground and leaped high into the air, gathering bright white Normal type energy into its massive palm before slamming it down onto Shadow Mewtwo.
A heavy thud echoed.
Shadow Mewtwo's next movement was interrupted and its body froze for a brief moment.
In such an intense battle, even a single moment of pause could be fatal.
Several meteors began orbiting around Miraidon, which now resembled a deep blue star. As Miraidon moved, those meteors followed, rushing straight toward Shadow Mewtwo.
At the same time Miraidon seized the opportunity and launched another Electric type attack.
It used Electro Drift once again.
Under the enhancement of the Electric Terrain, a layer of blue purple lightning plasma surged across Miraidon's body. Combined with the golden light of the Dragon meteors, the two energies merged into a terrifying destructive torrent.
Shadow Mewtwo finally broke free from its momentary stiffness.
But before it could fully adjust its stance, its pupils shrank sharply.
In desperation it hastily formed a psychic barrier to protect itself.
BOOM!
Crack.
The violent Dragon meteors struck first.
The barrier immediately filled with cracks like shattered glass before being torn apart within seconds.
The star like Miraidon slammed heavily into Shadow Mewtwo's body.
Lightning engulfed it entirely, causing its body to convulse violently.
A painful and hoarse scream burst from Shadow Mewtwo's throat.
With its special attack boosted and standing inside Electric Terrain, Miraidon's Electric type Lightning Rush displayed overwhelming power, dealing tremendous damage to Mewtwo.
Shadow Mewtwo was blasted away for more than a kilometer.
In the distance the three Mudsdale brothers looked up at the sky. Clearly they would still have to train much harder.
Like a kite with its string cut, Shadow Mewtwo flew out of the ranch and crashed heavily into the mountain behind it, smashing out a massive crater.
Flocks of bird Pokémon scattered in panic and flew wildly into the sky.
"Help me restrain Mewtwo. I'm going to get the coconut crab soup."
Silas shouted loudly toward Miraidon and Mega Dragonite before quickly rushing back into the house.
He opened the refrigerator, took out the coconut crab soup, and placed it into the microwave to heat it up.
Ever since suspecting the existence of Shadow Pokémon, Silas had kept coconut crab soup prepared at the ranch.
Once a Shadow Pokémon appeared, it could immediately be purified.
Miraidon and Mega Dragonite responded with a roar and quickly chased after Shadow Mewtwo.
They dropped down into the massive crater and pinned Mewtwo down.
The main force restraining it was Mega Dragonite.
Its body grew larger and larger until it resembled a mountain.
Shadow Mewtwo was like the Monkey King trapped beneath a mountain, unable to move.
Meanwhile Miraidon circled nearby and repeatedly released strange electric waves to disrupt Shadow Mewtwo, preventing it from gathering its strength.
Kangaskhan had already returned to its normal state and carried the coconut crab soup over.
Before leaving the house, Silas quickly gave several instructions.
"Sister Indeedee, go call Meganium and check on the three Noivern. Brother Indeedee, go calm the Pokémon in the ranch. The situation has already been handled, so everyone should not be afraid."
"Korrina, Anne, and Cinccino, you all stay inside the house and do not run anywhere."
"Big brother Silas… Mewtwo…"
Anne clenched her small fists nervously.
For Anne, Mewtwo could be considered her lifesaver.

Dragonite's massive mountain like body pressed down inside the crater.
Shadow Mewtwo was pinned beneath it with only its head exposed.
Miraidon circled around the crater's edge.
Every time one of its strange electric waves struck Mewtwo, its body twitched slightly and the psychic energy it had been gathering instantly collapsed.
When Miraidon saw Silas approaching, its electronic eyes flickered with a strange emotion, although its expression remained mostly unchanged.
"Thank you for your hard work."
Silas stepped forward and patted Miraidon and the enormous Dragonite before dividing the coconut crab soup into two portions.
One portion he fed to Jigglypuff, while the other was kept as backup.
"Miraidon, activate Electric Terrain again."
"Miraai!"
"Jigglypuff, it's your turn."
"Jiggly!"
Silas gently poked Jigglypuff's cheek, and it immediately understood.
Jigglypuff took a deep breath.
Holding a microphone with its tiny hands, it began to sing with its unique voice.
Electronic music echoed through the air.
The song carried a different kind of power this time.
Because Electric Terrain was active, no one fell asleep.
The cooking effect of the coconut crab soup began to work as well.
One musical note after another floated through the air and landed on Shadow Mewtwo's body.
The purifying power within the song merged with the soup's effect.
The Shadow aura covering Mewtwo's body visibly began to thin.
At the same time Mewtwo's body slowly relaxed.
The madness within its eyes faded like a receding tide, revealing clarity beneath.
Silas signaled Dragonite to loosen its restraint slightly as he carefully observed Mewtwo's condition.
However, the problem had not been completely resolved.
The Shadow Synergy Stone attached to Mewtwo's left chest trembled violently.
Black energy continued to seep out from the cracks on its surface, showing that it had not fully detached from Mewtwo yet.
"Mewtwo, do not resist. We are trying to save you."
After saying this, Silas noticed that Mewtwo neither spoke nor moved.
He took that as agreement and stepped forward with the coconut crab soup.
"Hahaha. The coconut crab soup is here."
Mewtwo turned its head away.
Silas gave a signal.
Kangaskhan and the recovered Cyclizar stepped forward and grabbed Mewtwo's arms from both sides.
"Mewtwo, this soup is extremely precious. How could a chef like me possibly drink it myself?"
Mewtwo struggled fiercely, as if trying to say something.
But a moment later it finally drank the remaining half of the soup.
