Chapter 3 - Nami

After having escaped the diabetic-inducing, demonic nightmare that was the 35-island archipelago known as Whole Cake Island, the Straw Hats decided to relax and stock up on the nearby island, as they would be going to another Emperor's territory: Wano.

"Make sure to bring back lots of meat!" Luffy shouted out as he was forced to stay on the ship by a democratic vote. It was for the best, considering what Luffy could get himself into.

Sanji nodded as he took a puff of his cigarette. "Yeah, yeah, Luffy! We already understand, but"—Sanji's body began to flap about, hearts in his eyes and wiggling his hands in the air—"we have to make sure that Nami-swan is happy too!" he joyfully added.

Nami smiled at Sanji's usual antics; he had never changed, and hopefully he never would. Nami could still use Sanji's chivalry to help her. While that did seem like Nami was using him without care, it was consensual on both parts, and Nami did care for Sanji but knew that he could take care of himself.

"Thanks, Sanji. Can you keep an eye on Chopper and Carrot to make sure that they don't do anything too crazy, especially with how Carrot can influence Chopper?" Nami said. She pointed towards the large shopping area. "I think I'm going to try the shops here," she added, with Sanji still having hearts in his eyes as he nodded and hurried off to supervise Chopper and Carrot.

Nami walked into a shop, and her eyes turned into money signs as she looked at the luxurious products on sale. The products were high quality, and there was a glass cabinet filled with thousands of glorious jewels and ornate accessories.

"Welcome, ma'am. What would you like? We're welcoming of all our customers, whether they be pirate or marine," he said.

Nami smiled, pulling off the innocent, seductive shining smile that she would usually use to charm men and make them let their guards down. The man blushed, and Nami internally smirked at how her beauty never seemed to fail her.

The Straw Hat navigator looked around, but her eyes were about to solidify in delight when she saw a necklace of golden greatness. It was a golden, crystal-embellished necklace crafted with cables designed in an elaborate, vine-curved aesthetic; it had a lobster clasp fastening, and attached to the chain were two G's marked with an ocean of variable jewels and crystals, fashioned in a royal golden-brown colour.

'I... want... it!' she squealed mentally.

Biding her time carefully and waiting for people to be preoccupied while actively avoiding suspicion by trying on multiple outfits and examining items, when the time was right, Nami snatched the necklace and calmly left the shop with a confident smile, having managed to snag such a beautiful gift; it would be a nice present going into Wano.

Nami clasped the necklace and put it into her pocket as she looked around to make sure that the others were not loitering. "Looks like the others have gotten back to the ship. I'm surprised that Carrot has been more contained since we've gotten here." Nami had a sad look as she realized what may have been a possible reason, but the sadness did not last long, and she was smiling once again. 'I've got my necklace. Today is a good day,' she thought.

Suddenly, an arm lashed out and grabbed Nami, making her scream as she looked to see the man responsible, dressed in a simple but fashionable black suit and tie. "Finally found you," he said.

Nami had a look of worry and was getting ready to pull her Clima-Tact out. "Who the hell are you?!" Nami questioned.

The man sighed. "I guess it does look shady, but I ain't gonna do anything to you in this alleyway," he told her, but she did not relent, "and I don't really care if you're a pirate or something," he added, and Nami relaxed slightly.

"U-um, so can I go, then? I mean, I really need to get back to my crew. And you said that you don't care if I'm a pirate or not," Nami explained, walking backward while trying to give an innocent smile and get the man distracted; then she would either whack him with her bo staff and get away or just run off.

The man wiggled his finger. "Not so fast. You see, you have something that doesn't belong to you, girl. Or rather, Nami of the Straw Hat Pirates," the man said, surprising her. He looked at her face. "Don't be shocked. You're part of a crew that is considered to become the new Emperor of the Seas. Of course you will be well known. That said, I'm here to take that necklace you stole from the shop."

'Snap! I got caught! I was sure that I did it undetected!' Nami thought in surprise. Nami smiled and waved her hands. "W-what?! I didn't do such a thing. I know I'm innocent. Why are you trying to get a confession out of an innocent girl like me?" she spoke, trying to use a more persuasive tone to sway the man.

The man's hand jolted forward into her pocket. She tried to push it away, but he withdrew it on his own accord. When he opened his hand, it revealed the very necklace that Nami had stolen, the orange-haired navigator giving an embarrassed face at being caught. "You were saying?"

Nami tried to get away, as her seduction did not seem to faze the suited man, and he was fast enough to probably knock her out, but he stopped her. "G-get off of me!" Nami groaned at the man, shaking her body.

Her answer came in him shaking his head. "No, I can't. You see, one cannot simply steal and expect no consequences for their actions. Although you did not get away with it, stealing is still something I take seriously. Therefore, you will have something stolen from you," he told her, making Nami gasp in shock.

Nami gritted her teeth and hit the man in the suit in the face, but it did nothing to stop him, something which surprised her. 'It didn't work at all!' she thought in shock.

The man set her down and revealed something about the necklace. "Did you know that this necklace had a tracker tag on it?" he revealed, shocking her and causing him to grin. "Shocking, right? If it were not for this tag, you would have never been caught. Still, I won't be the one that rectifies your behaviour. Someone else will."

The man, who overpowered Nami's feminine strength, brought her towards an old, smelly homeless man. "Huh? Who the hell are you?!" Nami said.

The man in the tie nodded. "I owe this man a favour, you see. So, in the spirit of good business, you are going to be the reward that I give to this old geezer," he told her, making her eyes widen. "Don't worry, you'll love it."

Zayden, the old man, grinned sleazily as he took his large, dirty hands and began to grope Nami's body all over. The navigator of the Straw Hats yelped as she felt his large hands squeezing her body harder. "S-stop that! All I did was take one necklace!" she complained.
