As Jisoo began arranging the ingredients, completely focused and in her own world, soft whispers started to ripple through the area.
The beast women who had gathered at a distance leaned closer to one another, their eyes fixed on her with a mix of curiosity, confusion… and a little disbelief.
"Is that… a human?" one of them whispered, her ears twitching slightly.
"Yes," another replied quietly. "I heard she was brought here by the Lord himself…"
A third frowned, clearly unsettled. "Why would he bring a human here? This is the Northern Territory. Humans don't belong here."
Their gazes shifted back to Jisoo, watching her move around the ingredients like she owned the place—touching things without hesitation, inspecting, organizing… completely unafraid.
"She doesn't look scared at all," one of them murmured.
"Shouldn't she be trembling by now?" another added. "Most humans would faint just from being here."
