The forest battlefield was pure chaos.
Students from Tokyo Jujutsu High, Kyoto Jujutsu High, U.A. High, and even League of Villains were clashing with everything they had. Leaves swirled in the air. Rocks levitated. Sparks flew from quirks colliding with cursed energy.
I ducked under a shadow of Megumi's shikigami wolves while throwing a fireball at a training dummy I had set up in the chaos. Denki zipped past me, electricity crackling from his fingertips as he zapped a cursed spirit-like obstacle Nobara had conjured for practice. Kirishima, Bakugo, and Mina had teamed up, tanking a series of cursed projectiles while simultaneously keeping a group of villains in check.
Gojo was laughing somewhere in the distance, clearly enjoying the absolute mess that was unfolding. Todo was beside Yuji and me, yelling encouragement like a coach gone wild. "You guys fight like I dream about!" he roared, slamming a cursed energy-enhanced fist into a pile of training dummies.
Despite the chaos, a rhythm started to form.
We coordinated with the Jujutsu students, dodging attacks, countering strikes, and teleporting in sync. I had begun to understand the nuances of my own ability better—teleportation wasn't just jumping from place to place anymore; I could shift objects, including my teammates, strategically across the battlefield.
At one point, I accidentally teleported Toga right into a training scenario, and she squealed with delight before bolting across the forest, trying to stab a cursed dummy. "GET HER!" I shouted, and Yuji sprinted after her, swinging fists with perfect timing.
The highlight, of course, came when Aoi Todo yelled at me and Yuji during a break in combat:
"What type of girl do you like?"
We exchanged a glance.
"A tall girl with a big butt… like Jennifer Lawrence," we said in unison.
Todo immediately went wide-eyed, throwing an arm around both of us. "YES! NOT BORING! BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE!"
Even Gojo couldn't hold back laughter.
But soon, we had to refocus. The Kyoto students began a coordinated push. Their teamwork was clean, precise—classic Jujutsu High style. We responded with a mixture of quirks, cursed energy, and a lot of improvisation. Every time someone tried to trap me, I teleported unpredictably, dragging a teammate or villain with me to counterattack.
Shigaraki was surprisingly efficient at picking off cursed obstacles while Dabi covered the skies with flames. Kurogiri remained a calm anchor, transporting allies when necessary.
Finally, after what felt like hours but was probably only half an hour in real time, the battlefield quieted. The cursed constructs had vanished, the portals had been stabilized, and no one was seriously hurt. Everyone, exhausted but exhilarated, collapsed onto the grass.
Yuji laughed, wiping sweat from his brow. "That… was insane!"
Nobara smirked. "Kyoto's gonna hate us."
Megumi sighed. "We survived. Barely."
Bakugo muttered, "Not bad… for a bunch of kids and a couple of villains."
Todo turned to us with a grin. "Ren. Yuji. You're officially my best friends. Remember that."
I rolled my eyes. "Do I really have to?"
He shook his head vigorously. "YES!"
I glanced around at the mess we'd left—the scorched dirt, the dents in trees, the smoldering cursed energy residue—and thought: this might be the craziest training day of my life.
Gojo floated down casually from a tree branch, sipping some kind of energy drink. "Not bad. Not bad at all. Very entertaining."
I sank into the grass next to Yuji. Denki lay beside Kirishima, Mina beside Kaito, and everyone else spread out, panting. Even the villains seemed… content.
Somehow, in the middle of absolute chaos, it had all worked.
We'd survived the cross-universe clash.
And I couldn't stop grinning.
Because deep down, I knew… this was only the beginning.
