Chapter 1 - Chapter #1 The First Outing

In a ruined world where might is the only law,

even the strong are reduced to crawling.

The gods have not abandoned mankind,

yet they reserve their true favour for monsters.

In this 'blue world,' countless souls survive only by lurking in the shadows—

for even with power, one cannot walk in the light.

But humans are relentless.

They struggle in the dirt like worms, refusing to surrender hope,

until at last, they seize their crowns

."As time passed, humans built villages, cities,

gathering the strength to surpass other creatures.

They grew stronger and bolder, but this was only the beginning.

Even with their newfound power,

humanity remained insignificant in the eyes of the gods.

It is now the 700th year of the apocalypse—seven centuries since monsters first appeared on the Blue Planet

. Though much has changed, seventy percent of the planet remains unknown; humanity has successfully explored only thirty percent of their world."

Xia Fang is the son of Xia Hang,

the chief of a xia village home to only 200 souls.

He lives there with his father and sister, Xia Chen,

in a world where monsters roam freely just beyond their borders.

To survive, the villagers live in constant silence,

fearful of drawing any unwanted attention.

Today marks the first time Xia Fang has ever stepped outside with his father, and the sight of the world beyond his home sends a cold chill running down his spine.
