THE RED REUNION
Moments after 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 left, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was still looking over the balcony, his hands still folded behind his back. Everybody else was talking, cleaning up messes and sorts.
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊! " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 called, immediately silencing the whole place.
"Yes brother ? " she answered
"Come this way" he demanded, she was a little confused but she came nevertheless and then he said;
"I'm sorry, i must do this"
She was confused, before she could say anything he drew his sword and began loudly;
"You might think this battle is over, but it has just began"
Everybody paused, confused
"Brother, what on earth are you saying? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 asked
"𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, what are you doing? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 pressed, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ignored them and continued
"Hear me, you all, for the Emperor and 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 has a different goal in this war... "
"What are you talking about? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 pressed
"What do you mean? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 probed, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 looked at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 confused and expressed
"Brother.... "
"I am sorry you all, but we cannot allow the Emperor take over 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 -"
"Wait, wait, wait, what the fuck are talking about?, isn't that what we just did? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 broke in, interrupting 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗. You can imagine the confusion in the air at this moment, more soldiers assembled in the balcony, more behind 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗. The atmosphere became restless for everyone, well not for everyone, some of course knew what he was talking about, while some were severely confused.
"Brother, I don't understand, please, please, explain" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 pleaded
"I couldn't bring myself to tell you 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, even though you deserve to know. I just didn't expect you to get so close to them" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 started
"What do you mean brother? " she asked, even more confused
"What is he saying? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 asked
"Sheesh" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 shhed him
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 exhaled
"Everyone just listen, I'll explain" he suggested, everyone listened attentively, he cleared his throat and began
"Like i said, 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 and the Emperor planned this together, but 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 had a different goal in it..... "
"What exactly is the goal you're talking about" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 interrupted again, this spiked 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and he said
"I'm getting there..... Can't you see I'm tryna do this calm way, shut the fuck up or I'll kill you first"
"Kill him first?, does that mean you'll kill more? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 quickly pointed , 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 held his head, trying to calm down.
"𝙻𝚒𝚞 please, allow him explain" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 pleaded, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 nodded.
"No more fucking interruptions! " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 voiced as he continued
"The Emperor's plan is to take over 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 and make it his, 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗's plan to take his revenge on 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, help me get mine and stop the Emperor from taking over 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎.... "
The confusion rose even higher
".....so he used the Emperor's plan to fuel his and used his to stop the Emperor's. Which means-"
"What the fuck brother" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 snapped
"Ohhh no, this can't be happening" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, quietly , 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 boiling
"So what happens now? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 asked
"While 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 gathered soldiers for the invasion, he also gathered soldiers for his plan, so some of us here are for the Emperor and some here are for 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗"
"What the fuck" a soldier expressed as everyone started murmuring and looking at the next soldier, making them paranoid.
"The plan is to stop the Emperor's soldier and reclaim 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 stated, everybody was in the state of fear, confusion, disbelief and paranoi, the tension was increasing by the second, everybody started holding their weapons close.
"Reclaim 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 for who?, we already Killed the King and possibly his heir " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 questioned, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 and her daughter were very confused, like what the hell is actually happening?, it didn't feel real at all.
"Reclaim 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 for me as the new King! " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 bombed, everybody was shocked, gasps all over.
"What!!!! " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 snapped!
"We did all of these to make you King? , so this was it? , to make yourself King? " she added as she was fuminggg.
"Calm down 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, you know me enough to understand i don't care about that" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed
"So why?, whyy!!!?" she pressed
"This was 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗's idea, and of course I was against it, he called it a repayment for what the King put me through but I told him i care for nothing else except my revenge, that my revenge was my repayment and i dismissed it, but he then asked me this, and this I'm about you ask you all; do you know what will happen to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 if the Emperor takes over?, do you really think he'll join both kingdoms together, he hates 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 with every single bone in his body, he was born through the hate for 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, if he claims 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, the kingdom will crumble, he will turn everyone into slaves and claim their property for his self, how else do you think he's gonna recover all the wealth he poured into 𝙷𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚋𝚛.... "
He was making sense, not for everyone obviously, the 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜 didn't care
"If he becomes the ruler, everything here goes to dust, he plans to erase 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 from the soil of the earth. I didn't care at first but now that I'm back in 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 and i can think a little more properly, i now find sense in what 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 proposed and therefore i must fulfil, the real battle begins from here" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 concluded
"You animal, what else do you expect him to do with 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜, they are beast, just like you and they don't deserve anything good. The Emperor was right about you, no matter how long you spent in 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎, you're still a stinky 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔 pig" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 uttered and spat, drew his sword.
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was about to respond but 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 held him back and spoke loudly
"I'm afraid my brother is right, no matter what happened to us, we are still 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜, i didn't know the Emperor was such a monster, no doubt he would've killed us after using us, i agree with my brother on this one, but please, let's no shed blood over this"
"I'm afraid that is impossible" a 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 soldier beside 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 looked at the soldier ,she was confused and speechless.
"𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 called, she was startled and then she looked at him
"Please, let us not fight about this, take your team and join us, my sister has grown bond with you all, so i don't want to hurt you, please join us" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 requested
"No!, no, what are you talking about, why'd you do this" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 pressed, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 faced darkened, she was quiet
"Don't you even dare think about it" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 warned, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was perplexed. 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 suddenly ran from them to join 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 , they were all shocked
"What the fuck 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 expressed
"So you knew? " 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 asked
"Yes, I'm sorry guys, Lord 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 is my father so i must take his side, and i also don't like 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜" 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 stated
"But we are 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 said, pointing to himself and 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗.
"I'm sorry " she said, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 felt so betrayed and so pissed, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 still couldn't believe what was happening, her biggest fear.
"What say you 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked, everybody suddenly shifted their gaze to 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, she hesitated and slowly rose her head up and spoke
"I'm sorry but i fight for 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎 " every 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 cheered, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 smiled, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 sighed.
"𝙻𝚒𝚞 please, please don't allow this happen" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 begged
"You both are making this happen, we already won, why don't we just end this, nobody else has to die" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 countered
"But we can't let the Emperor take 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, he's a monster and you know it" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 claimed
"That monster gave me a purpose" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said
"No 𝙻𝚒𝚞, it was 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, remember?, he took you to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 countered
"True but even himself wouldn't let this happen, more reason why i won't let it happen" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 returned.
"𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, your resistance will only lead to a slaughter, you are very outnumbered, you see we didn't anticipate 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 departure, so we brought more soldiers to balance the equation, but now he's not here and his absence leaves a huge difference in both our armies, you cannot win, save your team 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, last warning" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pushed, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 looked around slowly, lifelessly and she said
"I am a soldier 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗,..... I can't just switch my shield like that and so are they"
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 all looked at each other sad, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 was very mad at 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊, there was hate in his eyes, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 lowered his gaze, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 wept, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 shook his head , held 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and said;
"I'm sorry, my little dove" , he look at 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 and said
"I respect your stands soldier, as you wish it" as he drew his axe and picked up a shield. Everything slowed, the tension was at the fullest, the grips grew tighter on their weapon, as fear gripped them even tighter, they salivated, then as soon as 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 hit his axe on his shield, all 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 could here from behind her were slashes, her eyes opened wide as blood splashes her face while she turned back. The soldier behind her were killing themselves, it was as they feared, a sword sudden emerged in the midst, swinging for her head, she quickly bent and stabbed the attacker, she looked back and saw 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 charging towards 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊, as 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's soldiers charged towards them, she yelled
"𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎!!, nooo", then she gestured 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 to stop him, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 tried but was blocked by the soldiers and he had to fight. Everythingwas falling apart for 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, this time soldiers were attacking from front and back, she fell to her knees to catch her breath and then she attacked, it was a blood bath.
𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 and 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 were charging against each other, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 was the first to swing, she blocked it with her sword
"What are you doing 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎? " she asked
"Shut up, you snake, how dare you betray us" he pressed as he swung, she blocked it again and said
"How is it betrayal if i was never on your team"
This made him even more angry.
"So it was all a lie? " he asked
"I did not say that, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎"
"Then what are you saying, what did you mean by you hate 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜?"
"I obviously wasn't referring to you, jeezzz you might be dumber than 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, so what?, are you gonna kill me now? " she pressed, he hesitated and then sighed
"Fuck, so what now? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 asked, she said nothing for a while, waited till he dropped his guard then she suddenly stabbed him....
He eyes became wide open, he couldn't believe it, he looked below and saw her sword deep in his stomach, he looked up at her and asked
"Why?" as blood ran through his mouth
"I told you, I hate 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜" she replied, he smiled as his way to express disbelief for the betrayal, his teeth painted red, she was surprised. Then he walked closer to her slowly as the sword went deeper, she was shocked, then he quickly gripped her, tight, she struggled but couldn't get him off
"Get off me you bastard" she said struggling. With the red smirk still on his face, he said
"I always had a crush on you, i was going to tell you after this battle"
𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 was surprised but still struggled, he sighed and spoke
"I wish this went another way"
As he pushed himself with her to the edge of the balcony . 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 noticed and yelled
"Nooooo"
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 fell to her knees, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 ran to stop them but wasn't fast enough as 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 pushed himself with her off the balcony. The atmosphere slowed, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 froze, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 started panting. A soldier suddenly attacked 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 in his froze state, he wasn't expecting it.
"𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 yelled but before he could turn, the soldiers knife drove into his stomach, from behind, he yelled and quickly swung his sword backward, removing the head of the soldier, as he held his stomach, he fell to the wall and waged with it as 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 ran to help him. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had told 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 to stay back and not join the war, even asked two soldiers to stay by her side, but now she had entered the battle and now far from safe, even though the soldiers still ran after her, it wasn't enough. She quickly tore 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗's shirt and tied the wound as he was panting. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 was looking at them when a soldier rushed towards her, swing his sword, she bent quickly and kicked him away. Another soldier ran towards her, before the soldier could swing, she removed the wrist with her sword, the soldier yelled, blood splashed, then he shoved her sword into the heart of the soldier, silencing her. Another soldier charged at her, she dodged the swing, moved to the side, grabbed the soldier's arm and pulled him to the ground as she stabbed him , she ran towards the wall , jumped and matched the war to launched her in the direction of her next target, before the soldier could even react, she landed with her sword to the soldier's chest, the soldier groaned and fell, she uprooted her sword and moved forward against another soldier, dodged a swing from him while running, before the soldier could realize, she already got behind, she slashed his rib without looking as she kept moving forward towards 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗
"𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗!!!!!!! " she yelled.
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 who just withdrew his axe from a soldiers skull looked back and saw her
"Look around 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, I warned you, there's no 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 to save you now, I gave you a chance " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 yelled back
"Shut up and fight me" she countered, he paused and then smiled.
"I was hoping to fight 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, but I'll settle for you " he said, then she ran into the dining room, he ran after her, killing anybody in the way.
They both got in and stood opposite each other, starring hard at each other, both faces locked, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 smile died completely. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was to first to attack, swinging his axe, she ducked and rolled bodying him to the side, he immediately attacked again, swinging his axe and his shield at once from both sides, she threw herself backwards with a flip, and before she landed, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 kicked her to wall, it made contact, she groaned and stood back up immediately, ran towards him screaming, rolled her sword around her wrist, twisted and swung the sword with full force, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 blocked with his shield but the force was strong and it pushed him. He quickly swung his axe and she dodged it, she swung her sword up from downwards, he shifted to side and swiftly turned with a kick, she blocked it with her hands and they both paused, looked at each other intensively. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 quickly picked up a small knife from her trouser and threw swiftly against him but he countered it with his axe, and threw his shield against her, she moved he upper body and barely dodged it. She swung her sword, he bent to escaped it as he rolled behind, she threw a kick from behind, he grabbed it and threw her, she twisted herself mid air and landed perfectly. He was impressed and now he was about to get serious as he drew his second axe, she picked up his shield, they both locked eyes and charged towards each other. He swung his right axe from upwards, she bent and blocked it with her right hand which held the shield, then immediately she swung her left hand which had her sword towards his leg and he blocked it with his left axe , pulled her sword up with the axe , making her get up, kicked, she blocked with shield, pushed his leg back. She then used the space and time to quickly untie the rope in her trouser and tied it to shield, he was confused but charged nevertheless, threw both his axe one after the other, she thought he only threw one then hit away with her shield when she saw the other flying directly to her face, she dropped herself, instantly freeing all the muscles in her body, escaping the axe by only JUST, falling and slowly watched the axe fly over her head. He rushed towards her, she quickly jumped up, and maneuvered over him as he ran to pick his axes, now their sides has been switched. They charged again, she swung the shield, he duck and swung his feet in attempt to sweep her, she jumped over it and aimed the shield at the feet he stopped it with his axe , the sharp side then pulled the shield towards him with it but she pulled it back immediately with her rope, and pulled his axe with it, he was stunned and she smiled as she caught the axe while holding the rope. Now she had three weapons against his one, she charged against him, swung the axe, he ducked, the shield followed, he ducked even lower then she swung her sword lowly, scraping the floor, this time he was in a bad position then he swiftly rose his arm over the sword and slammed it to the ground to stop it. It was very close him, she then pulled the sword which left him uneven and he fell to the floor then she swung the axe and he rolled then swung his while rolling, she shifting ,which gave him space to stand.
"You are way stronger than i thought" he said
"You're not doing bad yourself " she replied.
"I'm glad" he said as he drove his hands through his hair, rolled his axe with one finger and said;
"You can three weapons, let me see you use four" and he threw his last axe and ran with it, she was surprised but immediately threw the shield to counter it , and it did but before she could draw the shield back and before the axe landed on the floor, he caught both, then dragged her shield which she followed and swung his axe, she already anticipated this so she jumped and blocked it with the axe. Then she swung her sword, aiming for the hand that held the shield, he quickly removed his hand and she was free but he swiftly caught the her wrist she used to swing the sword with the same hand she swung it against and before she could react, he dragged her and set his back to drag her over and did. He slammed her on the floor hardly, she lost grip of the axe and then he twisted her arm around his leg, she screeched and dragged the rope on her other hand, which the shield followed, he moved in other to avoid it and she was free. She stood up, holding her hands, furious then picked his other axe and threw to him, he caught it but was surprised
"Sure you won't need it? " he asked, smiling, he was honestly enjoying the fight, this was his fight real fight without going full impulse.
"You're gonna need it more than i do" she replied, he scoffed and said;
"If you say so"
She started patting her feet on the floor slowly like she was counting, he noticed but ignored. She then ran towards him, threw the shield, he dodged easily, smiled but quickly realized it had a rope, then he quickly ducked and as she drew the shield back, he successfully escaped it, or so he thought. As she drew back , she placed sword by her arm and immediately moved to hit the shield, sending it back, this one he didn't expect, it was fast and he couldn't react, the shield slammed his face and she immediately pulled it , aimed for his face again, this time with more force, he knew he won't be fast enough to dodged the whole shield so he aimed his axe to the rope and cut it which reduced the speed and impact of the shield , it hit his face but with little force then he caught the shield. He looked at her, she looked at him, he gnased his teeth about to attack when he simultaneously heard
"BROTHERRRRR!!! "
"𝙰𝚂𝙻𝚁𝙾𝙽𝙽𝙽𝙽!!!!!"
His eyes tore open....
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was helping 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 up , when 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 blocked their part
"What are you doing?, get off the way" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 requested
"We're in a middle of a war, a war you caused" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 replied
"Can't you see 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 is badly injured?" she asked
"Why the fuck should i care? " he pressed, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 got frightened
"But....he's on your team, he's 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 " she said quietly.
"If he's a true 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗, he'd stab you even as you carry him"
"You damned beast" she snapped. He laughed and said
"Now I'm gonna send you where your lover now resides "
"He's not dead"
𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 chuckled and said;
"Why not?, because 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said so?, what is he, some kind of seer? "
She was speechless for while, then she said
"All of these because i loved someone else"
"Although that isn't false but this was part of my mission, killing you and your brother" he claimed
"What?, me?, why?, does the Emperor even know me" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 asked, shivery
"He didn't have to , been a sister to 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was enough reason"
"Why 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗?, he's been serving him for decades"
"You seem to always forget the important part; 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 is 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔, so it doesn't matter, anyways, I guess he was right, this is 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 betraying him now. I shall uphold him by killing 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 after killing you" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 proclaimed, as he drew closer, she was scared. The two soldiers looking after 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 ran into the scence and attacked 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜. The first, swung his sword, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 dodged, kicked him down, dodged a swing from the other one and stabbed him in the chest, turned and stabbed the other one before he could get up. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 got even more scared, he was about to swing on her when 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 came out of nowhere and held him from behind, he elbowed her, breaking her nose but she didn't let go
"Run away my little dove" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 said smiling with blood on her face, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was shocked and touched. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 turned and faced her, raised his sword, she just accepted her fate, closed her eyes , waiting for it. Then she heard a thud and when she opened her eyes, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was on the floor and standing over him was 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, to be honest, he was barely standing.
𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 quickly got up, surprised, it was obvious 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was fighting with his last ounce of strength. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 wasted no time and charged at him, going for a stab, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 caught the sword, with both hands, the plain part and pinned it, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was shocked but noticed the grip was weak, he just left the sword with him and pounced on him with punches, fed 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 with a pack of punches, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was just taking it, his body was too slow to react. The sword fell as 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 kept beating him, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 held her mouth but then decided she had to do something, then she picked up the sword and charged against him, he already saw her, she swung, he shifted, she lost balance then he turned, grabbed the sword from her and kicked her to the floor, then he smiled and said
"Goodbye, if i can't have you, no one will" with a smile as he slowly drove the sword at her , 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was too beat up to move, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 wasn't close enough. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊'seyes grew as she screamed
"BROTHERRR!!!! "
Simultaneously, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 screamed
"𝙰𝚂𝙻𝚁𝙾𝙽𝙽𝙽!!!! "
As the sword slowly drove into her heart, in that quick moment her past flashed before her eyes, she saw herself, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊, and 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 happy in the farm, as that freeze breeze blew past them once more. what her future could've been flashed before her eyes, she saw herself with 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 sitting on a throne happy as 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗,𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 and 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎, stood beside them laughing. A single tear came falling from her eyes and the sword drove through. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 turned and saw this and ran with full speed, but never in his life has he ever felt so slow, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 pulled the sword out and she fell. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 once again, fell to her knees, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 cried loudly, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 just remained on the floor as tears fell sideways from his eyes. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ran to 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and begged
"Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, don't go, please, please, Please, PLEASE. I can't live without you, I won't survive", tears that hasn't fallen from his eyes in decades fell slowly, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 saw him cry, smiled and touched his face, rubbed the tears.
"You can't leave me this soon, what about our future?, you're not supposed to die before me, you don't deserve it, you don't-" "Brother, brother... " she called quietly
"Do not.... " she started, wheezing
"Turn into.... " she coughed blood, the blood touched 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's face, mixed with his tears
"...a monster" she said as she gave up the ghost. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 froze, eyes wild opened, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 shifted back and spoke
"Rise 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, and let me send you with her in my generosity, as I honor the Emperor's request"
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was still on his knees, started punching the floor and it started to break, then he screamed that even those outside the gate could hear him and he kept punching the floor, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 looked at 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 who was barely standing, she was panting,her heart ached ,couldn't catch her breath, then he turned back he saw 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 already stood with his axe , and his gaze lowered.
"Come to your death 'Lord 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗', come and let me put you out of your misery, then I'll kill 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 next and get my revenge on 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, then i can be fulfilled and join 𝙾𝚛𝚒𝚔𝚞𝚜 in paradise, and we shall drink together, just like we did" he said smiling, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 was surprised.
"Now, run to me 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛-" before he could complete his sentence, he felt a slight unusual breeze and before he could look, with fright in his eyes, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's axe slowly touched his neck. As he turned his head to the left, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's axe drove through to the right, and the head continued to turn he slowly began to see 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's face, darkened, with blood around it. His eyes was peeled as he was gripped by fear and he realized this was it. The axe slowly cut through the muscles, through the lymphoid tissues, through the mucous, through membranes, through the blood vessels, through the nerves, through the throat and through it all as the head fell slowly to the ground with his eyes wide opened, then the body fell to the knees and then, to the ground. That was last thing 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 saw before her eyes slowly closed. She has lost everything she gained, a family she nevet had, a battle and a knighthood, everything she ever dreamed of, got them and lost them. The bond she finally shared, gone.
Her eyes slowly opens, sees 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 speak to her, very unclear vision but she could see him turning his back against her saying;
"Never come back here 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊..."
then her vision faded and reopened, seeing herself getting pushed in a wheel in the middle of no where, still very unclear. Then the vision blended with 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's voice.
"Leave and never return, none of these would have happen if you had listened, on you, i must never set my eyes again. "
Then her eyes slowly closed once more.
