Working at the cyber café changed Raju. He was no longer sitting at home waiting for opportunity. He was learning, earning, and interacting with people every day.
But as months passed, a new thought began to grow in his mind.
Is this enough?
Many customers who came to the café applied for jobs in bigger cities like Kolkata, Delhi, and Bangalore. Some filled railway forms, others applied for private companies. Listening to them, Raju realized that the world outside his small town was much larger.
One evening, his childhood friend Amit visited the café. He had recently moved to Kolkata for work.
"You should come too," Amit said. "There are more opportunities here. It's not easy, but it's possible."
The idea scared Raju.
Leaving his family, going to a big city, facing unknown challenges — it felt risky. But staying in the same place forever also felt limiting.
For days, he thought deeply.
