Maya's POV
"Eleanor has such a lovely ring to it," Sebastian murmured from where he lay propped against the hospital pillows. "Named after my grandmother."
I turned the name over in my mind, gazing out the window at the city below. "Eleanor Sterling. It flows beautifully. But what happens if we have a son instead?"
"Arthur, maybe?"
"Arthur Sterling Jr.?" I couldn't help but chuckle at the image of a tiny baby wearing his great-grandfather's stern expression. "That sounds awfully stuffy for a little one. How about something with more life to it? Ethan, perhaps? Or Leo?"
"Leo." Sebastian rolled the name around thoughtfully. "That has a good sound. Leo Arthur Sterling, with Arthur as his middle name to honor his great-grandfather." His face lit up with that gentle smile that never failed to make my heart skip. "Sometimes I still can't wrap my head around it. We're actually going to be parents. When I think about how close I came to losing all of this, losing you..."
